Free agent WR Kenny Britt will visit the Redskins on Monday.
Britt spent 2018 out of the league after being cut by the Patriots in August, and he was not any good in either Cleveland or New England in 2017. Still, he is only 30 and had the best season of his career catching passes from Case Keenum when both were with the Rams. He is a worthwhile flier for a team which needs receiving help.

Free agent WR Kenny Britt will work out for the Patriots on Monday.
Wide receiver has been a revolving door for New England following the offseason departures of Danny Amendola and Brandin Cooks. Britt went to training camp with the Patriots this summer but was cut following a hamstring injury. Monday’s scheduled workout would suggest Britt is nearing 100 percent. Even if the Pats decide to bring him back, the journeyman wideout won’t be a fantasy consideration.

Kenny Britt’s trial for possession of a marijuana cigar has been postponed.
The postponement was due to Britt hiring a new attorney and additional information the attorney now wants from the prosecutors. No new date has been set for Britt’s trial. After moving his family to the Nashville area, Britt maintains that he will no longer be spending as much time getting in trouble in New Jersey.

Kenny Britt said his chemistry level with Matt Hasselbeck is at “about 75 or 80 percent right now.”
It’s scary to think that Britt can be even more dominant, but it’s true. Hasselbeck and Britt didn’t have an offseason to get to know each other thanks to the lockout and they are still adjusting to new coordinator Chris Palmer’s scheme. Britt has 271 yards through two games this season and has scored 12 touchdowns in his last 11 games. He’ll be a WR1 option against the Broncos next week.

Kenny Britt and Chris Johnson are both active for the Titans’ Week 3 game against the Broncos.
The Titans’ inactives are OT Byron Stingily, QB Rusty Smith, S Chris Hope, OL Kevin Matthews, CB Chris Hawkins, DT Zach Clayton, and DT Malcolm Sheppard. The starting defensive ends will be Jason Jones and Dave Ball. Britt is safe to use against Denver’s Champ Bailey-less secondary. Johnson should be looking at a breakout week with the Titans’ offense really starting to click.

Kenny Britt was carted off the field Sunday with a right knee injury.
The injury happened at the end of a second-quarter reception. Britt was obviously in a ton of pain, bailing to the ground at the end of the play and fumbling the ball away to the Broncos. We’d be surprised if he returned to the game. Britt’s knee bent awkwardly on the play, but the extent of the injury is unknown at this time. Lavelle Hawkins and Damian Williams will see increased roles. Britt’s day is probably done after three catches and 18 yards.

Kenny Britt will undergo an MRI Monday on his ailing right knee.
Profootballtalk.com is reporting that the injury is believed to be to Britt’s MCL. Coach Mike Munchak indicated that the Titans don’t know the extent, saying Britt will need to “take more tests” before the team makes any announcement. Britt conceded that he’s still limping badly, and he’s currently sporting a knee brace. We’ll have an update by no later than the early afternoon on Monday. The injury appeared significant on the field, so fantasy owners should probably prepare to be without Britt for some time.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the fear in the Titans’ organization is that Kenny Britt has a torn right ACL and MCL.
Terry McCormick of Titan Insider had a similar report. Britt will undergo a Monday MRI to confirm, but early signs aren’t good for his chances of returning this season. In the scenario that Britt is sent to injured reserve, Nate Washington would step into the No. 1 receiver role with Damian Williams and Lavelle Hawkins competing for the other job. The Titans would also have to find ways to increase Jared Cook’s passing-game involvement.

Titans coach Mike Munchak suggested Sunday that Kenny Britt may need another surgery on his right knee.
Britt tore his right ACL and MCL last Sept. 25, and had reconstructive surgery on Oct. 7. While beat writer Terry McCormick cautions a follow-up procedure would be “comparatively minor,” it’d also be an indication of setback and concerning for Britt’s ability to fully regain explosion. Titans DE Derrick Morgan, coming back from his own torn ACL last offseason, had the same sort of follow-up surgery in 2011 training camp. He managed 2.5 sacks in 14 games (10 starts). No second surgery has been scheduled yet for Britt. “He’s been doing well, running hard,” said Munchak. “We’ll just have to see how the knee responds.”

Kenny Britt (ACL surgery) revealed Thursday that he’s resumed making cuts on his surgically repaired right knee.
“I’m out there running, mostly at full speed, cutting, running around,” he said. "... Cutting and acceleration and things like that, they’re doing all right. Hopefully I will be back and ready to go.” Britt conceded that his recovery hasn’t been without minor setbacks, and his knee still swells after workouts. He’s got three months before the heart of training camp. As for past off-field issues, Britt insisted, “I don’t want to waste my talent.”
