Seahawks signed WR Keenan Reynolds, CB Jeremy Boykins, LB Justin Currie, S Marwin Evans, C Marcus Henry, OG Jordan Roos, WR Caleb Scott, TE Tyrone Swoopes and DB Simeon Thomas to reserve/future contracts.
A 2016 sixth-rounder, Reynolds made his first two regular season appearances for the Seahawks in 2018.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
Seahawks added WR Keenan Reynolds to the 53-man roster.
Reynolds spent all of 2017 on Washington’s practice squad. His best chance for remaining on the roster longterm is to ace his inevitable role on special teams.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
Ravens signed WR Keenan Reynolds to their practice squad.
Reynolds is back in Baltimore after going unclaimed on waivers. The former triple-option quarterback from Navy struggled with drops during training camp and only caught one pass over 84 preseason snaps. He’s a project player.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
    Ravens waived WR Keenan Reynolds.
The Ravens were quick to give up on Reynolds, a sixth-round converted running quarterback out of Navy. Camp reports indicated Reynolds was “dropping passes and punts on a daily basis” in practice. Reynolds managed one catch for two yards across 84 preseason snaps.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
Ravens sixth-round rookie Keenan Reynolds is “further along” at receiver than the team anticipated at this point.
ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley calls Reynolds the “most intriguing rookie on the team” and expects him to get a shot to return punts and see snaps on offense. Reynolds was a triple-option quarterback at Navy and set an FBS record with 88 rushing touchdowns. He has a good shot to make the team.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
According to ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley, sixth-round WR Keenan Reynolds “drops passes and punts on a daily basis” at training camp.
It’s been a brutal camp for the former triple-option quarterback out of Navy. He played 29-of-64 offensive snaps in the preseason opener, but didn’t touch the ball on offense and wasn’t targeted. After a strong spring, Reynolds now faces a steep climb for a roster spot. The practice squad may be best-case scenario.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
Ravens signed sixth-round pick Keenan Reynolds to a four-year contract.
A triple-option quarterback at Navy, Reynolds has been working at receiver during OTAs. The Ravens want him to open this season as their primary returner.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
    Ravens re-signed WR Keenan Reynolds.
They also re-signed exclusive rights free agent OT De’Ondre Wesley and LB Brennen Beyer. Reynolds spent his entire rookie year on practice squad after getting waived at final cuts. He’ll compete for a kick return role.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
The Baltimore Sun’s Jeff Zrebiec writes WR/KR Keenan Reynolds looks “far more natural as both a receiver and a returner” this offseason.
An option quarterback at Navy, Reynolds struggled in his transition to receiver as a rookie, but Zrebiec writes he “fielded punts cleanly and confidently” while making “a handful of tough catches” at minicamp. Reynolds remains a longshot to make the final roster in a suddenly crowded receiver room, but he will help his chances dramatically if he proves capable as a returner.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
Ravens sophomore WR Keenan Reynolds recognizes “the opportunity is there” for him to make the final roster.
Baltimore is extremely thin behind Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman, who are the only two receivers on the roster who recorded more than 10 catches last season. It is still possible the Ravens add someone between now and training camp, but Reynolds is currently set to compete with the likes of Michael Campanaro and Chris Moore for a big role. Reynolds is also in the mix at returner, which only helps his roster chances.
