Bears signed Iowa State WR Josh Lenz.
Lenz (5-foot-11 1/4, 201) was not invited to the Combine, but put himself on the draft radar with forty times of 4.36 and 4.37 at the ISU Pro Day. He added a 38.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-1 broad jump. Lenz was not a productive collegiate, but could parlay a year or two on the practice squad into a bigger opportunity because of his god-given tools.

Texans waived WR Josh Lenz, DT Ra’Zahn Howard, LB Carlos Thompson and OT Arturo Uzdavinis.
Lenz is a fourth-year UDFA who has never appeared in a regular season game.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
Browns signed WR Josh Lenz and DL Christian Tupou.
An undersized speedster out of Iowa State, Lenz signed as an undrafted free agent with the Bears following the 2013 draft. He was released at final cuts in 2013 and has spent time on the Seahawks’ and Colts’ practice squads the last two seasons. He is unlikely to make the final roster.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
    Browns waived WR Josh Lenz.
Lenz hauled in 7 passes for 108 yards this preseason. The speedster could be headed to the practice squad. This move could be good news for Terrelle Pryor’s roster chances.
