Mariners signed RHP Jesse Hahn to a minor league contract.
Hahn hasn’t appeared in the majors since the 2021 season, but he’ll head to Seattle in the hopes of getting back to the big leagues. The 35-year-old journeyman spent last year with the Dodgers at Triple-A Oklahoma City, posting a respectable 4.54 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 44/33 K/BB ratio across 41 2/3 innings (35 appearances). He’s made 82 appearances (50 starts) in the majors between the Padres, Athletics and Royals dating back to 2014.

    Dodgers released RHP Jesse Hahn.
Hahn signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers back in January and went on to post a respectable 4.54 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 44/33 K/BB ratio across 41 2/3 innings (35 appearances) this season for Triple-A Oklahoma City. The 35-year-old righty hasn’t appeared in the big leagues since the 2021 season at this point and it’s fair to wonder if this is the end of the road. He made 82 appearances (50 starts) in the majors from 2014-2021 between the Padres, Athletics and Royals.

Dodgers optioned RHPs Landon Knack, Ricky Vanasco and Nick Frasso, OF Andy Pages and Cs Hunter Feduccia and Diego Cartaya to Triple-A Oklahoma City; Re-assigned LHP Stephen Gonsalves, OF Travis Swaggerty and RHPs Jesse Hahn, Michael Petersen and Eduardo Salazar to minor league camp.
With the Dodgers and Padres set to open the regular season sooner than the rest of the league, expect them to trim down their rosters more quickly than the rest of the league. Knack, 26, had been a dark horse to see occasional starts as part of a six-man rotation to begin the season, but he’ll start out as excess depth at the Triple-A level instead.

Dodgers signed RHP Jesse Hahn to a minor league contract.
The 34-year-old Hahn hasn’t pitched since Apr. 2021 because of shoulder problems, so this is a rather unexpected resurfacing. Hahn began his career a decade ago as an effective starter for the Padres and A’s, but he just wasn’t able to stay healthy in the rotation or out of the bullpen. He’s 19-21 with a 4.22 ERA in 50 starts and 32 relief appearances as a major leaguer.

Royals placed RHP Jesse Hahn on the 60-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement.
The Royals needed to clear a 40-man roster spot to acquire righty Domingo Tapia from the Mariners, so Hahn has been shifted to the 60-day injured list to make room. The 31-year-old righty has been sidelined since early April due to a shoulder injury, but he’s eligible to be activated on June 11.

Royals returned RHP Jesse Hahn from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha.
It was originally reported that Hann had been activated from the injured list, but he’s just been returned. There should be more information on his status in the coming days.

Jesse Hahn (shoulder) will be starting a rehab assignment Thursday with Double-A Northern Arkansas.
Hahn has been recovering from a right shoulder impingement since April 12, making solid progress with no setbacks. The right-hander did not get off to a strong start this season before being sidelined, allowing five runs on five hits over 4 1/3 innings, but has a strong track record that the Royals are depending on to fortify their bullpen.

Jesse Hahn (shoulder) lasted just one batter in a rehab appearance Wednesday with Triple-A Omaha.
That’s not good. Hahn has been out since April 12 because of a right shoulder impingement and may have reaggravated that injury or tweaked something else. Look for an update sometime Wednesday or Thursday.

Jesse Hahn (shoulder) threw off the mound and reported no issues.
A good first step for Hahn, who is rehabbing from a right shoulder impingement. The Royals are taking it slow, but a rehab assignment might not be far off if he continues to make progress.

Royals manager Mike Matheny indicated Monday that Jesse Hahn (shoulder) is close to returning.
Hahn was placed on the injured list a week ago with a right shoulder impingement, but it sounds like he’s made some nice progress. He could be an impact reliver for the Royals if he can remain healthy, but that’s always been Hahn’s issue.
