According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors have signed Jerome Robinson to a training camp deal.
A first-round pick of the Clippers in 2018, Robinson camped with the Warriors last fall but was cut before the start of the season. Spending last season with the Warriors’ G League affiliate, Robinson appeared in 24 games and averaged 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.8 3-pointers in 29.2 minutes. While he will get the opportunity to compete for a roster spot, Robinson is highly unlikely to impact fantasy basketball next season.

The Warriors cut Jerome Robinson and Pat Spencer after their preseason loss to the Nuggets on Saturday.
Neither player was going to see the floor often enough to be rostered in fantasy hoops. This won’t have an impact in any league, no matter the format.

Jerome Robinson has reportedly signed a training camp deal with the Warriors.
Robinson spent last season with the Warriors G League affiliate in Santa Cruz, but he’ll be competing for a spot on the regular season roster at training camp. Even if the former lottery pick makes the team, he’ll have a negligible role in the rotation.

The Wizards have reportedly waived Jerome Robinson.
It was only three years ago that Robinson was a lottery selection for the Clippers, but after fizzling out in Los Angeles, he has now continued the trend in D.C. He might be able to find another minimum-level deal elsewhere, but he’s safe to ignore in fantasy hoops.

Bradley Beal (bruised right hip) is questionable for Monday’s game vs. the Raptors.
Beal has missed four straight games with the injury, though at least he’s being called ‘questionable’. Ideally, we’ll have some clarity after Monday’s shootaround so that managers with weekly lineups can lock him in or out with confidence. If not, he could be headed for a game-time decision. Raul Neto and Jerome Robinson stand to benefit with added minutes and touches if he’s out again.

Jerome Robinson did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Mavericks.
Robinson was in the starting lineup Friday, but struggled and played just nine minutes as a result. Saturday night, he didn’t even see the court.

  • ATL Shooting Guard #24
Russell Westbrook, Garrison Mathews, Deni Avdija, Davis Bertans and Alex Len will start Saturday’s game against the Mavericks.
Mathews will be the one tasked with filling the void left by the injured Bradley Beal, as his return to the starting lineup drops Jerome Robinson to the bench. Robinson played just nine minutes despite starting Washington’s loss to the Pistons, which may be a sign that he won’t offer much in the way of fantasy value coming off the bench. Fantasy managers can leave Robinson on the waiver wire.

Bradley Beal (hip) will not suit up for Thursday’s game vs. the Pistons.
This will be the third straight game on the sidelines for Beal, so he must really be hurting with that hip issue. Jerome Robinson will be getting another start tonight, although he hasn’t done much over the past two games, so he’s not all that attractive in DFS. Russell Westbrook will continue to post monster stat lines with Beal on the sidelines.

    Betting Slant:

The absence of Beal has moved the point spread from Wizards -3.5 to Wizards -1. The total has moved from 223 to 218.5

Bradley Beal (right hip contusion) is questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. the Hornets.
The Wizards are playing the second half of a back-to-back set, so we may not get a shootaround update. Beal exited Saturday’s game and didn’t return, so his absence on Monday wasn’t just a precaution in the first half of a back-to-back set. If he’s out again, Russell Westbrook should have another monster performance while guys like Jerome Robinson, Raul Neto and Chandler Hutchison help pick up the slack.

Jerome Robinson will start in place of Bradley Beal (right hip) on Monday against the Pacers.
Robinson will start for the fourth time this season alongside Russell Westbrook, Deni Avdija, Rui Hachimura, and Alex Len on Monday. In 14 appearances this season, he’s averaging 4.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.6 steals. Those numbers will rise a bit as a starter and he might be an OK streaming choice for 3-pointers.
