Jeremy Lamb announced his retirement from professional basketball.
The 12th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Lamb appeared in 573 games for the Hornets, Thunder, Pacers, and Kings. The former UConn standout averaged 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game as an NBA player, with the 2018-19 campaign (his last with the Hornets) being Lamb’s best.

The Lakers reportedly hosted a workout for free agents Jeremy Lamb, Shabazz Muhammad, Dwayne Bacon and Miye Oni.
The Lakers could use some more depth and shooting on the wings, but they have very little cap space, so this is the tier of players they can work with. Lamb could make some sense in LA, and he could possibly even compete for a starting spot, but he’ll need to earn a contract first.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #26
Jeremy Lamb (left hamstring soreness), Alex Len (non-COVID illness) and Josh Jackson (non-COVID illness) have all been ruled out of the Kings’ game against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Lamb only made it through nine minutes of Monday’s game against the Heat before being forced to exit due to the injury, a game in which Len and Jackson were both absent from altogether. Lamb’s absence should mean more minutes for Donte DiVincenzo, who posted a 12/5/3 line with four treys and three steals in 32 minutes on Monday, and he’s looking like a must-start player this evening with so many Kings on the shelf. Damian Jones will continue to start at center and has been alright, while Jackson is a negligible fantasy option.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #26
Updating an earlier item, Jeremy Lamb (hamstring) is now available for Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
Lamb went from out to doubtful to available tonight which is nice, but he’s still not the most reliable fantasy option around.

Jeremy Lamb (left hamstring soreness) is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against Houston.
Lamb played just nine minutes on Monday before exiting the game due to some hamstring soreness, so we will see if he tries to give it a go in this one. If he doesn’t, Donte Divincenzo has the most to gain, and he has scored in double figures in four straight games and is averaging 4.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game over that stretch with 13.0 points, so he is worth a look as a streamer.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #26
Jeremy Lamb (left hamstring) exited after just nine minutes in Monday’s matchup with Miami, finishing with six points, one rebound, one steal and a block.
Lamb hasn’t been much of a fantasy factor lately, so the biggest takeaway here is a potential boost in minutes for Donte DiVincenzo off the bench.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #26
Jeremy Lamb (personal reasons) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Suns.
Lamb has missed Sacramento’s last three games, but he should be good to go Sunday night. His return would mean fewer minutes for Donte DiVincenzo, but he’ll remain in the rotation. While DiVincenzo can still offer some streaming value, especially if De’Aaron Fox (hand) remains sidelined, the same can’t be said for Lamb. Leave him on the waiver wire.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #26
Jeremy Lamb will miss Friday’s matchup with Boston due to personal reasons.
This will mark Lamb’s third straight absence. Expect Donte DiVincenzo and Justin Holiday to pick up more minutes.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #26
Jeremy Lamb (personal reasons) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.
Lamb will miss a second consecutive game for personal reasons, with Donte DiVincenzo in line to absorb those minutes. DiVincenzo has played well recently, but his fantasy outlook isn’t particularly great as Justin Holiday is no longer listed on the injury report.

  • LAL Center #27
Alex Len will play through his sore back on Monday.
Jeremy Lamb is out for personal reasons tonight, while Len doesn’t offer much fantasy promise coming off the bench for the Kings.
