Arkansas State sophomore WR Jeff Foreman caught four passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 48-15 win over ULM.
The Red Wolves passing offense earned over 500 passing yards, yet all but 57 of those yards went to just two players. WR Corey Rucker was the big earner with over 300 yards and four touchdowns, while Foreman was the one to pick up the slack anytime the offense turned away from Rucker. On a per-catch basis, Foreman (6'2/175) was doing exactly what Rucker did: crushing it down the field with over 34 yards per catch while also scoring on about half his touches. The Red Wolves passing offense got whatever they want versus a horrid ULM pass defense. Foreman had two straight 100-yard games beforehand, so his performance is less surprising that Rucker’s, but still outrageous nonetheless.
