  • FA Defensive Lineman
Raiders DE/OLB Jarvis Moss fractured his right hand in Wednesday’s practice.
Moss missed Thursday’s practice, but coach Tom Cable isn’t ready to rule him out. He made his Raiders debut last week at San Diego.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Raiders signed DE/OLB Jarvis Moss, formerly of the Broncos.
They’re looking for depth with Trevor Scott going down with a season-ending knee injury. Moss will play defensive end, where he’ll back up Matt Shaughnessy, for the Raiders after playing outside linebacker in Denver. Perhaps playing his old college position will light a fire under the former first-round pick.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Beat writer Paul Gutierrez says DE/OLB Jarvis Moss “impressed the coaching staff with his high motor and work ethic” late last season.
Moss was signed off the wire by the Raiders in November after being dumped by the Broncos. The former first-round pick has talent, but he may not have a spot on the roster with Trevor Scott expected back from knee surgery. Moss is a free agent.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Raiders DE Jarvis Moss had two sacks in Oakland’s Week 3 win over the Jets.
Moss also pressured Mark Sanchez on a handful of other snaps, and played stout against the run. Since arriving in Oakland late in the 2010 season, the former first-round bust has tallied three sacks in eight games after notching just 3.5 in his 34 game Broncos career.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Raiders agreed to terms with DE Jarvis Moss on a one-year, $1.25 million contract.
The Raiders liked how Moss looked in practice last year, and he did show well with one sack in about 25 snaps in Week 17 against the Chiefs. Oakland will continue to try to develop the former first-round bust into a situational pass rusher. Moss is only just now turning 27, so we suppose there’s still potential.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Free agent DE Jarvis Moss is scheduled to work out with the Cowboys Wednesday.
Moss, the No. 17 overall pick in the 2007 draft, has been out of the league since 2011 and has two career starts to his name. At this point, he’s just looking for someone to take a chance on him as a camp body. DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer are locked in as the Cowboys’ starting ends.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
The Cowboys are not expected to sign free agent DE Jarvis Moss after Wednesday’s workout.
Team scouts described Moss’ workout as “decent,” which Cowboys.com writer Bryan Broaddus takes to mean, “We’re glad you came in, but we are going to keep hunting for players.” Moss was the 17th overall pick in the 2007 draft.
  • FA Quarterback #7
Josina Anderson of FOX 31 Denver reports that the Jaguars have interest in Brady Quinn and an unnamed pass rusher on the Broncos’ roster.
The pass rusher, specifically a “DE/OLB,” could be former first-round pick Jarvis Moss, who’s been a bust in Denver and is likely available for cheap. Jags coach Jack Del Rio has been a fan of Quinn dating back to the 2007 draft, when he allegedly wanted to select the Notre Dame quarterback before the Jags took FS Reggie Nelson. According to Anderson, Nelson is available for trade. The Broncos’ level of interest in him is unknown, but they’re probably willing to part with Quinn after selecting Tim Tebow in the first round.
  • DEN Defensive Lineman
Broncos DE Ebenezer Ekuban will miss the season with a torn Achilles tendon.
The loss of the speedy Ekuban hits Denver’s defense hard. He be will likely be replaced by rookie Jarvis Moss.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Broncos first-round pick Jarvis Moss was carted off the field Monday morning with a knee injury and is currently awaiting the results of an MRI.
The raw pass rusher was doing a spin move and fell to the ground after planting his left knee. He was able to get to his feet but needed assistance to make it to the cart. The Broncos should update his status later Monday.
