Jabari Parker has signed to play for FC Barcelona this season.
Parker spent time with Boston during the 2021-22 season, but he didn’t play in the NBA last season. He’ll get a chance to play again in Barcelona, but this won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • NBA Power Forward #20
The Boston Celtics will waive forward Jabari Parker.
The second overall pick in the 2014 draft will now be on the search for a new home, but no matter where he ends up, there is a very slim chance he’ll make enough of an impact to roster anywhere.

  • POR Center #35
Robert Williams (right big toe sprain), Romeo Langford (non-COVID illness), Aaron Nesmith (health and safety protocols) and Jabari Parker (dental work) are all listed as available for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.
All four of these guys except Parker missed Sunday’s game against the Magic, but the only one we really care about returning is Williams. He’s back after missing one game with a toe sprain and has been an absolute beast lately, so make sure he’s active. The rest of this quartet can mostly be ignored.

  • BOS Center #42
Al Horford (health and safety protocols) is being listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.
Horford is one of 12 Boston players in protocols, eight of which have been officially ruled out, so Horford not being able to play could cause some problems. Among other guys in protocols that are listed as questionable are Juancho Hernangomez, Jabari Parker and Brodric Thomas.

  • NBA Power Forward #20
Jabari Parker (health and safety protocols) will not be available for Friday’s game against the Warriors.
Parker has been sidelined since December 7, with the original reason being a non-COVID illness. Now he’s out due to health and safety protocols and does not have a timeline for return. Parker’s absence will not have an impact as far as fantasy is concerned, as he is not in the rotation on most nights.

  • NBA Power Forward #20
Jabari Parker (illness) won’t play on Wednesday against the Clippers.
He was iffy coming in and isn’t feeling well enough to give it a go tonight, which will have almost zero fantasy implications.

  • NBA Power Forward #20
Jabari Parker (non-COVID illness) is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
He’s had a couple good moments in his seemingly millionth stint with the Celtics, but he can be safely ignored even if he does play for his first time in six games.

  • NBA Power Forward #20
Jabari Parker (non-COVID illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.
Parker isn’t a rotation player on most nights, so his absence will not have an impact.

  • NBA Power Forward #20
Jabari Parker gave the Celtics a spark on Monday vs. the Hornets with 13 points, five rebounds, a block and three triples in 17 minutes.
This was Parker’s season debut and he certainly made the most of it. The Celtics were short handed this evening so Parker picked up a handful of Al Horford’s minutes, and while this performance will be in the back of coach Ime Udoka’s mind the next time he needs a lift, it’s safe for fantasy managers to look elsewhere for value.

  • NBA Power Forward #20
Jabari Parker has reportedly agreed to a new deal with the Celtics.
The Celtics waived Parker on Sunday, and then signed him to a new contract by Tuesday. The exact numbers are unclear, but it’s possible that this might be a two-way deal. Either way, when the Celtics are healthy, Parker will be a non-factor in fantasy hoops.
