    Raiders waived WR Isaiah Zuber.
Zuber earned a camp spot after a strong showing for the USFL’s Houston Gamblers in the spring, but he will not crack the initial-53 in Las Vegas. It is possible the Raiders look to bring him back on the practice squad. Former Jets RB Austin Walter was also waived on Tuesday.

  • FA Wide Receiver #89
Raiders signed WR Isaiah Zuber, formerly of the USFL’s Houston Gamblers.
Zuber was an every-down player for the Gamblers, leading the team with 322 receiving yards and five scores. He also served as the team’s primary kick returner and even chipped in on punt return duties infrequently. Zuber’s last stay in the NFL was with New England in 2020. He appeared in four games for a receiver-depleted team, earning a pair of catches and rush attempts in the process. If he makes the Raiders’ roster, it will be through special teams prowess.

  • Tight End #84
The Boston Herald’s Andrew Callahan reports WR N’Keal Harry could be fighting for a roster spot this summer.
The former first-round draft pick could battle it out with unheralded second-year wideouts Isaiah Zuber and Kristian Wilkerson, per Callahan. Harry was at the center of trade rumors in March. How real those rumors were is the source of much speculation, as Harry has been disastrous as a pro, managing 45 receptions over this first two seasons in the NFL. Handpicked by head coach Bill Belichick over A.J. Brown and Deebo Samuel, Harry could start the 2021 season on another roster if the Patriots give up on him this summer.
