The Suns have signed Isaiah Thomas for the rest of this season, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Through two 10-day contracts, Thomas played about 14 minutes across four appearances. While he will be a solid veteran presence for them, he won’t impact fantasy whatsoever as the Suns battle for positioning in the West.

The Suns announced on Saturday that Isaiah Thomas has been signed to a second 10-day contract.
Thomas has played sparingly since signing his first 10-day deal with the Suns, and that’s unlikely to change with the second. The question is what the Suns will do once the second 10-day deal expires. Per NBA rules, a player can receive a maximum of two 10-day contracts before either being signed for the remainder of the season or waived.

Isaiah Thomas is expected to be available for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
Thomas inked a 10-day contract with the Suns on Saturday after spending some time with the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. While there is some excitement regarding his return to the NBA, Thomas is unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball.

Isaiah Thomas has signed a 10-day contract with the Suns, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Thomas hasn’t played in the league since he was with the Hornets during the 2021-22 season. He joined the G-League’s Salt Lake City Stars last week and was immediately an offensive force, which earned him a short-term deal with Phoenix. He could certainly see minutes as a reserve, and while it is unlikely that he makes much of a fantasy impact, he is worth keeping an eye on.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Isaiah Thomas has agreed to a deal with the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League.
Thomas’ quest to earn a return to the NBA continues, with the two-time NBA All-Star agreeing to a deal with the Stars. The hope is that he performs well enough to earn another shot in the NBA. This transaction does not impact fantasy basketball.

The Hornets are considering signing Elfrid Payton as backcourt depth, according to NBA insider Marc Stein, though Isaiah Thomas and Kemba Walker are also in the mix.
Walker is still with the Pistons because his “anticipated buyout [is] still on hold,” but it seems inevitable that Kemba and Detroit will agree to terms. Meanwhile, the Hornets were pleased with Thomas’ impact on the team while signed to 10-day contracts last season. Payton averaged a mere 11.0 minutes in 50 games for Phoenix last season and may not be Charlotte’s first choice for a veteran-backup PG, but there’s at least some NBA interest in his services.

The Hornets are considering a reunion with free agent guard Kemba Walker, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Hornets are in the market for a backup quarterback point guard, and Walker is someone that they are taking a look at. They are also taking a look at Isaiah Thomas, who spent some time in Charlotte last season and was a great locker room presence according to Charania. The Hornets are currently in limbo due to the Miles Bridges saga, so they are looking to add some pieces to their roster.

Terry Rozier finished Sunday’s 124-108 win over the Wizards with 25 points (10-of-18 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, and five 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
After going through a run to end March in which he scored 16 points or fewer in five straight games, Rozier enters the play-in tournament having surpassed the 20-point mark in two of his last three. That’s good news for the Hornets, a team that hasn’t received much in the way of consistent offense from its frontcourt beyond Miles Bridges. And with Bridges (9/7/5/0/1 with one 3-pointer) shooting just 3-of-12 from the field, it was the backcourt that carried the Hornets on Sunday. Rozier and LaMelo Ball (24/10/9/1 with six 3-pointers) both scored at least 24 points, with Isaiah Thomas chipping in with 14 points, one rebound, one assist, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 13 minutes off the bench. The 10-seed in the East, Charlotte will visit 9-seed Atlanta Wednesday night.

  • Point Guard #4
Isaiah Thomas had an efficient night on offense, hitting 5-of-9 shots and 2-of-3 triples for 15 points in Monday’s win over the Pelicans.
He also added an assist. IT led the bench in scoring and finished with his most points in a Charlotte uniform, providing a needed spark off the bench in this closely-contested affair. He averaged just 9.0 points, 2.2 assists, 1.7 triples and 1.5 rebounds across 13.5 minutes in six other appearance for the Hornets, so there’s no reason to add him off the waiver wire unless you’re searching for points and triples in a deeper league.

  • Point Guard #4
Isaiah Thomas scored 14 points with one rebound, one steal and four triples in 16 minutes vs. the Pelicans on Friday.
This was a garbage-time special, as Thomas scored 12 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter. Thomas hasn’t been in the rotation every night but whenever he does see the floor, he’s only seeing minutes in the teens.
