  • NBA Small Forward #25
The 10-day contracts for Tyler Cook, Andre Roberson and Iman Shumpert have all expired.
It remains to be seen if any of these three guys will get another deal in Brooklyn. The Nets did bring in Blake Griffin over the break, so there’s no room for fantasy value for these guys anyways.

Iman Shumpert has signed a 10-day deal with the Nets.
He gives the Nets some emergency depth but won’t be a fantasy option even if he gets some playing time.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #21
Iman Shumpert has been waived by the Nets.
The writing was on the wall here, as Shumpert only appeared in one game since signing and his deal was due to be guaranteed soon. He plans to sign a 10-day deal with Brooklyn once he clears waivers, according to Shams Charania, but he’ll only serve as emergency depth.

Iman Shumpert made his season debut on Tuesday vs. the Kings, scoring two points with a rebound in six minutes.
It was Shump’s first game of the season and there were no guarantees he was going to play tonight. But he did, and he even made a nice mid-range fadeaway after snagging an offensive rebound. He’s not going to be a fantasy-relevant player unless the Nets are shorthanded but let him build some steam first. It was good to see the veteran wing back on the court.

Iman Shumpert (hamstring) will be available to play Tuesday vs. the Kings.
There are no guarantees he’ll be in the rotation tonight.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #21
Iman Shumpert (left hamstring strain) is probable to play on Tuesday against the Kings.
This is great news for the Nets, but won’t change much for fantasy managers. Shumpert is a defensive player who doesn’t offer much in the box score.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #21
Iman Shumpert (left hamstring strain) remains without a timeline for a return to action.
Shumpert has yet to appear in a game for the Nets, and it remains unknown when that will change. According to Nets coach Steve Nash, he is traveling with the team during it current road trip. Shumpert can help the Nets defensively once cleared, but he doesn’t offer much in the way of fantasy value.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #21
Steve Nash believes that Iman Shumpert’s strained left hamstring will cost him 1-2 weeks on the sidelines.
Shumpert tweaked his hamstring trying to get into game shape after signing with Brooklyn, so his debut will be delayed by a couple of weeks. Even when healthy, we don’t anticipate him having any fantasy value.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #21
Iman Shumpert (left hamstring strain) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game in Detroit.
Shumpert must have tweaked his hamstring at practice because he’s yet to appear in a game for Brooklyn this season. His absence won’t have any impact in fantasy hoops.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #21
Iman Shumpert is available to make his debut on Friday against the Raptors.
Shumpert has cleared protocol and can play on Friday, but he’s unlikely to see much action. We’ll update if he becomes a part of the rotation.
