It’s bad timing for Armour who sits at just 162nd in the FedExCup standings with only one regular season event remaining after this week. He’s been slumping to the finish line with four straight missed cuts. Armour cracked the field for 19 events this season while playing on conditional status. Gamers should remove him from all weekly lineups.

Armour was trending with a T35 in Canada and T25 at the Travelers but had that momentum stalled with a missed cut last week at the John Deere Classic. He ranks160th in the FedExCup race so it’s crunch time with only five more weeks to pad those totals. Armour is still searching for his first top 10 of the season.

The young Korean was among the notable missed cuts last week at the 122nd U.S. Open. He missed it right on the number. It was just his third MC of the season, in 19 total events played. Im was originally reported as a pro-am only WD this week (along with Justin Thomas and Si Woo Kim). Thomas and Im have both withdrawn from the full event now while Si Woo Kim is still in the field as of now. Gamers should remove the 24-year-old Im from all weekly lineups and keep an eye on this space for further updates, if they are provided.

The 32-year-old Hoffmann has one start left in his quest to earn 238.42 FedExCup points and regain full Tour status via his medical extension. He missed the cut at the RBC Heritage and the most recently at the Wells Fargo Championship, where he shot rounds of 73-80. The 46-year-old Armour made the cut in his most recent start last week at TPC Potomac, where he rebounded from a 76 on Saturday to card a 66 on Sunday and finished T-25. Armour has made seven cuts in 12 starts this season, with his best finish being a T-15 at the Corales Puntacana Championship in March. Last year at TPC Craig Ranch, Armour finished T-26.

The Ohio State product will be making his seventh career appearance at the RSM. He’s missed just one cut at the event (last year) with the highlight being a T15 which came three years ago. More recently, Armour has started the new season with a 2-for-3 record but nothing to write home about (T51, T67). This is shortly after he finished 127th in the FedExCup standings last season, the final year on his winning exemption from the 2018 Sanderson Farms Championship. As a result, he will be playing on conditional status in 2022 so starts won’t be as easy to come by, compared to the last few seasons.

The 45-year-old Ohio native finished T-8 in two previous appearances in Bermuda, in the 2021 and 2020 events, and is looking to rebound from a missed cut in his last start at the Sanderson Farms Championship, site of his lone Tour win in 2018. Armour finished T-51 in his first start of the season at the Fortinet Championship. Last season, the Ohio State alum made 12 cuts in 28 starts with four top 10s, but he missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship to fall from 122nd to 127th on the FedExCup standings and did not qualify for the PGA Tour Playoffs. Known as one of the straightest hitters on Tour, he led the PGA Tour in driving accuracy in 2017, was second in that stat in 2018 and 2020, and fourth in 2019 and 2021.

In his previous eight event starts, six of which came at the Country Club of Jackson, Armour has made three cuts including his win in 2017-18 season, when he shot 19-under 269 to beat Chesson Hadley by five strokes. That week, Armour posted four rounds in the 60s and became the most recent player to get his first Tour win after the age of 40 (he still holds the mark). (Prior to Armour, Greg Chalmers held the distinction, winning the 2016 Barracuda Championship.) Last season, the 45-year-old Ohio State alum suffered a disappointing end to his season when he missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship to fall from 122nd to 127th on the FedExCup standings and failed to qualify for the PGA Tour Playoffs. Armour made 12 cuts in 28 starts with four top 10s including back-to-back at the Barbasol Championship (T-5) and 3M Open (T-6). ... He was fourth on Tour in fairways hit.

The 45-year-old Akron, Ohio, native -- 121st in the FEC standings -- was trending in the right direction just two weeks ago, backing up a T-5 finish at the Barbasol Championship with a T-6 at the 3M Open. But he missed the cut last week at the Barracuda Championship, marking his 15th MC in 27 starts this season. “This golf course is always about hitting fairways,” Armour said previously regarding Sedgefield CC. “I think if you hit fairways, you can get to some of the hole locations. But out of the rough, especially ball’s starting to knuckle a little bit, it’s getting a little drier up top, so you’re catching some flyers.” Lucky for Armour, he’s got the numbers on his side as he ranks third on Tour in driving accuracy percentage at 73.11 percent (71st in GIR at 66.67 percent). He’s also 54th in total driving efficiency (122) and 103rd in total driving (200). In seven previous starts at the Wyndham, he’s made four cuts with two top 10s, finishing T-4 in 2017 and T-8 in 2018. Armour, the world No. 201, finished T-25 in 2020.

The 45-year-old, who co-led with Adam Hadwin at the midpoint, falls to 1-for-5 as a 36-hole leader/co-leader, zero for his last three. He does record his first finish inside the top 40 at the 3M (T42/2019), and hangs for his fourth top 10 of the season in 26 events, second straight after a season-best T5 at last week’s opposite-field Barbasol, where he was in the top 10 after every round. For the week, the Ohio State alum posted laps of 67-65-71-70, totaled 15 birdies versus four bogeys, and ranked 19th in SG: Off-the-Tee (2.110), 47th in SG: Approach (-0.099), 36th in SG: Around (0.135), 5th in SG: Putting (6.442), and 38th in SG: Tee-to-Green (2.161).
