That’s a pair of 69s now for the Challenge Tour player, his halfway total of 6-under 138 just two behind leader Patrick Reed of the United States. This is only Mejow’s sixth start on the European Tour but observers of the second tier have seen him pop up with T9 at the Challenge de Espana and T3 at the Kenya Open in recent months. Last week he fired middle rounds of 66-68 to take T28 at Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge. Today at Green Eagle the World No. 694 from Berlin kept it steady and made just one bogey (No. 10). For the second day running he made birdie-2s at 2 and 4 while his other two red numbers came late on the par 5s at 16 and 18.
