Video: Use shaft lean to bring your ball flight down

Thumbnail

One thing that most great players do well is control their ball flight, especially when it comes to playing in windy conditions.

If you struggle with the hitting the ball too high, it could be that you’re failing to create forward shaft lean at impact and that you’re actually adding loft to your clubs.

In this video segment, SwingFix instructor Justin Bruton is going to show you how to get the shaft leaning forward at impact, a position that elite iron players achieve time and again.

If you can create forward shaft lean in your swing, you’ll strike the ball more solidly, control your ball flight better and enjoy more success on windy days.
