Celine Boutier (4-0-0)

Grade A
Skinny: Was there a putt she didn’t make? She went 3-0 with Georgia Hall before rallying to defeat Annie Park in singles.

Carlota Ciganda (1-2-2)

Grade B
Skinny: Got the call for all five sessions and went 1-2-2, but she made some crucial putts in a significant leadoff singles match against Danielle Kang to set the tone. Taking down Kang sent a message that all her teammates could see on the board.

Jodi Ewart Shadoff (0-2-1)

Grade C-
Skinny: Her clubs were delayed in getting to Gleneagles, and she ended up earning just a half-point.

Georgia Hall (4-0-0)

Grade A
Skinny: Her ballstriking was excellent in difficult conditions as she went 3-0 with Boutier before beating Lexi Thompson in singles.

Caroline Hedwall (0-2-0)

Grade D+
Skinny: Only teed it up once before singles before letting an early lead slip away to Nelly Korda.

Charley Hull (2-0-2)

Grade B
Skinny: Ultimately, Europe’s win will have her remembered for 2-0-2 performance rather than her 18th-hole mess on Sunday that lost her the full point against Megan Khang.

Bronte Law (1-1-2)

Grade A-
Skinny: Though there were some nerves early and her 1-1-2 overall record isn’t overly impressive, she earned her high mark in the clutch final moments. She did so by flipping her match and beating Ally McDonald in singles, setting the table for Suzann Pettersen to win the cup.

Caroline Masson (0-2-1)

Grade C-
Skinny: She made some big putts through the week, but she managed to win just a half point for the week. More than an 0-2-1 record was expected from the Solheim veteran.

Azahara Munoz (2-2-1)

Grade B
Skinny: Joined Ciganda in playing all five sessions and compiled a 2-2-1 record. Was strong in team play before losing to Angel Yin in singles.

Anna Nordqvist (1-2-0)

Anna-Nordqvist_0.jpg

Grade B-
Skinny: Was quite unspectacular for two days before catching fire in Sunday singles, with her bogey-free rout of Morgan Pressel in the anchor match proving vital. The Euros needed to win the final three remaining matches or lose the cup. She delivered one of those victories.

Suzann Pettersen (2-1-0)

Suzann-Pettersen_0.jpg

Grade A
Skinny: Split her two fourball sessions alongside Anne van Dam, but was the hero for the Europeans, sinking the Cup-winning putt Sunday on 18. That moment will live in Solheim history.

Anne van Dam (1-3-0)

Ann-Van-Dam_0.jpg

Grade C
Skinny: Her performance alongside Pettersen on Friday was memorable, but the long-hitting rookie didn’t earn a point after that, going 1-3 overall.

Catriona Matthew (Captain)

Grade A+
Skinny: She made the tough decisions in sitting players in poor form, and her captain’s pick of Pettersen proved brilliant. Her quiet confidence resonated.
