Puma’s Faas Lite Mesh lightest shoe on market

Thumbnail

Puma Golf has long been known as the brightest on the course, but now they will be known as the lightest as well. With the release of the Faas Lite Mesh golf shoe, Puma has created the lightest shoe on the market, weighing in at just 6.5 ounces.

As with all-things Puma Golf, the technology is second to none. The spikeless Faas Lite Mesh shoes are inspired by minimalist running – with a zero heel-to-toe drop, strategically placed corrugated flex grooves, new trademarked traction technology and carbon rubber in the forefoot. The result is a barefoot feeling because the sole of the shoe always stays the same height, allowing for a more natural stride and better posture.

The real secret when compared to other shoes is the new FaasFoam+, a blend of foam and rubber that is 25 percent lighter than previous foams. Not only does this affect the weight, but it gives the Faas Light Mesh shoes a flexibility never before seen in golf.

And Puma has done all this without sacrificing style. The spikeless Faas Lite Mesh shoes come in blue/limeade, vibrant orange/white or classic white/black for men and black/virtual pink or white/brilliant blue for women.

Puma Golf is also releasing a waterproof version of the shoe, the Faas Lite, that weighs a little more at 8.7 ounces, but features all the same technology as well as additional microfiber leather that is sure to keep your feet dry.

Both versions of the Faas Lite will be available at golf retail shops on June 5, and will retail starting at $90. For more information, check out Puma Golf online.
