2024 LIV Golf schedule to feature at least half its events outside U.S.

The 2024 LIV Golf schedule will shift internationally with at least seven of the 14 events set to be played outside the United States, according to a copy of next year’s lineup obtained by GolfChannel.com.

Twelve of the 14 events on the ’24 LIV Golf schedule will be announced Wednesday with the season starting in Mexico at El Camaleón Golf Course (Feb. 2-4). Six of this year’s 14 events were played outside the United States.

The breakaway league’s first stop in the United States will be Feb. 8-10 at Las Vegas Country Club, leading into the Super Bowl, which will also be held in Las Vegas.

The third event will be played in Saudi Arabia (March 1-3), followed by an event in Hong Kong (March 8-10), before the circuit returns to the United States the week before the Masters (April 5-7). The venue for that event was not announced.

LIV Golf previously announced its return to Australia will be April 26-28, followed by an event in Singapore (May 3-5).

The circuit will hold its first event in Houston at the Golf Club of Houston (June 7-9) before going to The Grove in Nashville (June 21-23), Spain at Valderrama (July 12-14) and England at JCB Golf and Country Club (July 26-28). The regular season ends Aug. 16-18 at The Greenbrier.

The venues and dates for the individual and team championships were not announced. Last year’s individual event was played in Saudi Arabia and the team finale was played in Miami at Doral.
