High School, holds her trophy after being named Woman Rookie of the Year in tennis. She is joined by Nancy Lopez, 20, of New Mexico, who was chosen Woman Rookie of the Year in golf after placing second in her first three pro tournaments. Austin, who said she had no plans yet to turn pro, won two matches at Wimbledon and then advanced to the quarterfinals in the U.S. Open.
