Tiger Phil Sergio still 1-2-3 in world rankings

Zach Johnson claimed his third PGA Tour win in the last six months on Sunday and climbed seven spots to No. 19 in the world rankings.

Tiger Woods, the world’s No. 1 player, was again followed by Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia. Henrik Stenson and Geoff Ogilvy exchanged places with Stenson up to No. 4. That was the last change until Johnson coming in at 19.

Kenny Perry is No. 6 again and was trailed by Paul Casey, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas, Robert Karlsson, Sean O’Hair, Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk, Anthony Kim, Lee Westwood, Ernie Els and Ian Poulter.

Following Johnson is Rory McIlroy, who dipped one to 20th. Last week’s No. 20 Mike Weir fell two places to 22nd this week.

Irish amateur Shane Lowry became the third amateur to win on the European Tour on Sunday. It was his first European Tour start and the win helped him jump to No. 168 in the new rankings.
