Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry’s connection to golf goes way back, and now we have some photographic evidence to prove it.
ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted out a picture of Curry on his high school golf team, and there’s something refreshing about a dorky looking golfer with a popped collar growing up to become the best basketball player on the planet.

The Golden State Warriors point guard played for the Charlotte Christian School golf team for three years, and he frequently participates in pro-am events, you know, when he’s not busy playing with President Obama.
Rovell also tweeted Curry’s senior high school yearbook photo, where he went with a the classier collar down approach.
