Professional athletes are going to see the mean things written or said about them, and they aren’t just going to sit back and take it.

Paige Spiranac, who has nearly 850,000 Instagram followers and a pro win to her name, is the latest to strike back, after an account posted a meme with her picture captioned “The ‘I suck at golf but not at exploiting myself’ starter pack.”
Spiranac fired back in the comments with, “The nobody pays attention to me in real life so I started a crap Instagram page where I follow more people than follow me and put others down to get some type of validation that my life actually has the slightest purpose starter kit.”
Ouch. Hit them with the facts. That’s got to sting.
