Peyton Manning is no stranger to the stars of the PGA Tour, but on Sunday it was those behind the scenes who got the two-time Super Bowl champion’s attention.
The former Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts quarterback, who is a member at Crooked Stick, host of last week’s BMW Championship, sent a letter to the staff, thanking them for their hard work keeping the course in “immaculate condition” for the third FedEx Cup Playoff event.
And because Manning can’t help himself, he made sure to plug Papa Johns and Budweiser when offering pizza and beer on him.
Pure class, but a little surprising that he didn’t invite everyone over to watch Direct TV on Sunday mornings.
