Boise State women recreate school’s most iconic play

Thumbnail

It’s been eight long years since Boise State University shocked the Oklahoma Sooners and the rest of the world in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, but it sure doesn’t feel that way.

The Broncos pulled out every trick in the book in the final seconds and overtime to come from behind and win the first major bowl game in their program’s history, capping it off with a with a two-point-conversion, Statue of Liberty play that will live forever in football lore.

Perhaps the Boise State women’s golf team was feeling a bit nostalgic, or perhaps they were just responding to San Diego State’s trick-shot video from earlier in the week. The reasoning behind their epic trick-shot video below is not important. We’re just happy to live in a world where it exists.

The most impressive part about recreating the play that put their school on the map is the attention to detail. From the fake pass to the “Gatorade bath” to the marriage proposal, the Lady Broncos nailed it.

Your move, SDSU.
