This will warm some hearts in Seattle.
Courtesy YardBarker’s Extra Credit blog (via UniWatch) we bring you Ray Allen’s basketball-themed golf bag:
The picture is frrom TPC River Highlands, where Allen is hosting a charity tournament “to build a computer lab in every middle school in [Connecticut].”
“It’s not cool that we have kids that go to high school and can’t read,” Allen posted on Instagram, “so I wanna make sure I do what I can to encourage the kids to want to learn.”
Great cause? Definitely. Sweet item? Yes. Still, we can’t help feel disappointed. Jesus Shuttlesworth should have a Lincoln High School shoutout on his golf bag.
Separately, what happens if the 39-year-old, free-agent, future Hall of Famer he ends up following LeBron James to Cleveland? Somebody call the people at Vessel and tell them they might need to start on a new bag.
... And tell ‘em to get a Big State logo on there.
