CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Followed Phil for 18 holes today and was curious as to how the food poisoning would affect him.
Other than being admittedly tired and looking drained on the last couple of holes, everything else looked relatively normal.
I mean, he missed a few fairways wildly, and tried a few ridiculous recovery shots – and pulled them off. He made impossible scrambling shots look routine, and he received applause with every step – even once when he exited the port-o-let.
All in all, it was the same old Phil.
