Have an extra putter lying around in the garage?
If so, Ryder Cup hero (and an apparently very frustrated) Ian Poulter could use your help.
After finishing T-25 at the French Open, including a final-round performance in which he said he made birdie putts of only 12 and 4 feet, the Englishman took to Twitter to tell his more than 1.5 million followers that he was “sacking” his putter.
The offending wand is the Odyssey XG No. 7, which you may recall is the same flatstick he used to break the Americans’ hearts at the Ryder Cup. He tweeted that it was “time for a change” and that he “needs a good visual” for next week’s British Open.
Poulter is winless this season and ranks 45th in strokes gained-putting on the PGA Tour.
I'm not blaming the putter, I'm saying I want to use a new one. Every time I change I've had big success with a new look.

And then:
Putter companies I'm going to start the rounds calling for options to test this week ahead of the Open. Where shall I start... #Newwand

And now, most recently:
Looks like I'm going to have putters coming out of my ears in the next few days. Good that means lots of practice in my future.
