Nicklaus’ grandson survives scary motorcycle crash

One of the greatest golf families breathed a sigh of relief earlier this summer when a notable member survived a motorcycle crash without serious injury. Now, though, video has surfaced to show just how fortunate Nick O’Leary was to walk away from the incident.

Though O’Leary makes most of his headlines these days as a starting tight end for the Florida State Seminoles football team, golf fans may know him as the grandson of Jack Nicklaus. The 20-year-old was riding a motorcycle on May 2 when a car pulled out in front of him, sending O’Leary flying through the air in a terrifying crash, though he remarkably sustained only minor injuries.
