CORNING, N.Y. – Nobody calls her Tigress, but she has the most famous last name in golf.
Cheyenne Woods, niece to Tiger Woods, will take her largest step into the game’s spotlight next month when she tees it up in her first LPGA event on a sponsor’s exemption.
Cheyenne, 18, a freshman at Wake Forest, will play the Wegman’s LPGA June 25-28 in Pittsford, N.Y., according to the Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle.
