Harold Ramis, the famous actor, writer and director whose many works include “Caddyshack,” died Monday. He was 69.
Ramis, who also appeared in such comedies as “Ghostbusters” and “Stripes” and co-wrote “National Lampoon’s Animal House”, reportedly died from complications from autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis.
“Caddyshack”, widely considered one of the funniest sports movies of all time, hit theaters in 1980 and was Ramis’ first feature film.
