It’s a family affair this weekend at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, where a field of golf legends is teaming up with their sons (or daughters) to compete in the 15th PNC Father/Son Challenge. Jack Nicklaus and son, Jack Nicklaus II, highlight the 20-team field in competition for a $1 million prize purse and the Willie Park Trophy.
With a collection of players who’ve accumulated a total of 430 victories across the PGA and European tours, including 59 major championships, the PNC Father/Son Challenge features elite golf in a family-friendly atmosphere. Making their PNC Father/Son Challenge debut this week are Stewart Cink and son, Connor, and Nick Price and son, Greg. While the field is primarily composed of fathers and sons, Bernhard Langer and Fuzzy Zoeller are joined by daughters Christina Langer and Gretchen Chappo. Davis Love III & son Dru look to defend their title in the 36-hole scramble-format event, which begins Saturday, December 14 at 2PM ET on Golf Channel.
