OCALA, Fla. – The battle for the Rolex No. 1 world ranking continues in earnest with the new LPGA season underway at the Coates Golf Championship at Golden Ocala Equestrian Golf & Country Club.

No. 2 Lydia Ko and No. 3 Stacy Lewis have chances to overtake No. 1 Inbee Park this week.

If Ko wins at Golden Ocala, she will become the youngest world No. 1 in the history of professional golf no matter what Park and Lewis do.

Ko can also ascend to No. 1 with a solo second-place finish if Park finishes in a three-way tie for third or worse.

If Lewis wins, she will ascend to No. 1 if Park finishes eighth or worse and Ko finishes in a three-way tie for second or worse.
