Bubba Watson will compete in the Shenzhen International, a European Tour event at the Shenzhen Genzon Golf Club in Shenzhen, China. The event takes place April 21-24, two weeks after the Masters Tournament and opposite the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open.
“I have always loved playing in China, having won a world championships event in Shanghai in 2014, and will be trying hard to get another win on Chinese soil,” Watson said in a press release.
Watson will be joined by China’s Li Haotong, who is currently No. 172 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Watson competed in this event last, finishing T-29.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat is the defending champion.
