Just two weeks ago, Augusta National turned into a winter wonderland when a large storm blew through the South and coated the famed venue in snow. When another system moved through Georgia on Wednesday, though, it left a very different trail in its wake: a solid layer of ice, up to an inch thick in certain parts.
As cleanup efforts began in earnest Thursday, it was clear that the course was left slightly worse for wear following the storm, as evidenced by the iconic “Members Only” sign that was left dangling outside the club’s entrance:

According to an Augusta Chronicle report, though, an Augusta National spokesman indicated that the club faced only “minor debris cleanup” and would re-open for normal operations on Friday.
Tournament organizers now have 56 days until the first round of the Masters, at which point the course will likely return to the traditional greenish hue that makes it so recognizable each spring. For now, though, it remains under a blanket of white:
