Florida State freshman Jack Maguire has been named to the U.S. Palmer Cup team, replacing Stanford senior Cameron Wilson.

Maguire was a two-time winner this season and finished in the top 10 in eight of his 11 events for the Seminoles, who are one of 30 teams teeing it up this week at the NCAA Championship.

Wilson, a Hogan Award finalist and the No. 2 player in Golfstat’s individual rankings, was one of three seniors on the Palmer Cup team, along with Cal’s Brandon Hagy and Alabama’s Trey Mullinax.

The Ryder Cup-style event will be held June 26-28 at Walton Heath in Surrey, England.
