Derek Oland tossed together a 6-under-par 32-34=66 during today’s open qualifier into the AT&T Byron Nelson.

The Midwestern State product doesn’t have any PGA TOUR experience but he crushed the All Pro Tour last year. In 2018 he went 15-for-16 on the APT with a tour-leading 10 top 10s to his credit. He finished 4th on the tour’s money list with $49,310.42 in earnings. Oland currently ranks 16th in the 2019 ATP race with finishes of T14, T10, and T34. This will be a big step up in competition for the Texas native so there is no reason for gamers to invest in weekly leagues. Other to qualify today include Roland Thatcher, Zack Fischer, and Todd Balkin, who all posted round of 5-under 67 to punch their tickets.
