214,045!!!
That’s right, I moved up 214,405 places in the official Premier League game in one week – wow, Merry Christmas to me! Of course, it helped putting De Bruyne in as Captain (32 points thank you). I also managed to get 140 points in Perfect XI which is a very strong week by almost anyone’s standards.
Whilst last week’s predictions did well (Stoke beating United for example) it is always the strangest results that stand out the most – stand forward Southampton. I don’t know how much the bookmakers made out of that Arsenal display but I’m sure it made their Christmas!
Unfortunately it’s a quick week so I wont spend a lot of time waxing lyrical so here’s the predictor:
Predictor
It’s always a great week where 5 of the teams have probabilities that are over 60% so stand up Arsenal, West Brom, United, Norwich & Palace – it looks like a great week for you coming up. Arsenal of course have the perfect fixture this week against Bournemouth with which to get over their most recent defeat. West Brom are a little bit of a concern because they are in the list because Newcastle have been rubbish away rather than them being good at home. The rest are all positive scores so fill your boots. You’ll note that almost every team at home looks strong (with the exception of Watford) – concentrate on the top ones in my opinion.
Poisson
Hmmmm, where do you start with what looks like a low scoring week? Well Everton look strong against Stoke which will no doubt cause some concerns for a lot of managers with Butland and Lukaku in their stable. Leicester look equally strong against City but I wonder if this is the week when Aguero finally turns up to the party. Spurs look strong against Watford but I always prefer a home team. The rest all look fairly low scoring I’m afraid, including Arsenal against Bournemouth – I can see loads of 1-0, 0-0, 0-1 and 1-1 coming I’m afraid.
See you in a couple of days.
