Michigan TE Colston Loveland (shoulder) is expected to be ready for minicamp and fully cleared by training camp.
The news comes via Loveland’s doctor, Neal Elattrache, who sent the note to all 32 teams ahead of the NFL draft. Loveland underwent shoulder surgery a month ago after playing through the issue during his final season at Michigan. The downside is that Loveland won’t participate at the NFL Combine and isn’t likely to do any athletic testing at Michigan’s Pro Day either. Still, Loveland was the engine of his team’s passing attack, leading the way with 56 catches, 582 yards, and five touchdowns. Despite the lack of athletic measurements, Loveland is still a decent bet to hear his name called on the first night of the draft.
