Adams served as Arizona’s offensive line coach for two seasons. The team ranked ninth and seventh in rush yards per game. The next step in the Cowboys’ efforts to improve their ground game will be retooling their backfield. Ezekiel Elliott was cut before the end of the season and Rico Dowdle is a free agent, leaving the team with a massive opening at running back.

His late-season performance is highlighted by a Divisional Round showing against the Lions in which he racked up seven QB pressures. The 30-year-old should quickly sign a short-term deal with a contender, if released.

Tackle Kion Smith was also tendered. The former seventh-round pick was cut ahead of his rookie season and has since bounced between Miami’s practice squad and active roster. Goode has played sparingly on defense over the past two years but is a key contributor on special teams. He topped 300 special teams snaps in 2023 and would have done so in 2024 had he not spent most of the season on the reserve/PUP list.

Bitonio talked about retirement well before the end of the 2024 season, telling reporters multiple times he would consider moving on from football in the offseason. Just before the start of free agency, Bitonio has decided to give it at least another year. He started all 17 games last year and hasn’t missed more than two games since 2016. Kirkland serves as a backup offensive lineman and occasional special teamer. He suffered a torn biceps in Week 5 that ended his season but the Bengals evidently saw enough from Kirkland to keep him around for 2025. The 26-year-old player is entering his third NFL season.

Kreiter was born to snap footballs farther than the average snap, and that’s exactly what he has done for nearly the past decade. He started his career with the Broncos in 2016 and has been with the Giants since 2020. Kreiter logged five special teams tackles last year.

Anderson will return to Green Bay on a one-year deal worth just over a million dollars. He began his career as a UDFA with the Chiefs in 2021. Anderson played special teams for Kansas City and eventually Green Bay over the first three years of his career before finally getting some reps on defense in 2024. He broke up two passes and recorded one interception. Anderson will continue to develop as a reserve defensive back for the Packers in 2025.

According to Schultz, the Chargers aggressively pursued a trade for DK Metcalf in the past but came up empty. Metcalf’s request for a trade went public today and the Seahawks are reportedly working to find a partner, so LA could have better luck in acquiring the stud wideout this time around. With Ladd McConkey breaking out as a rookie, their need at receiver isn’t as drastic as when they tried to land Metcalf last offseason. Still, every team is in the market for more talent at receiver and the Chargers could use a No. 2 wideout to pair with McConkey.

McMillan now has the chance to field offers from other teams. The Broncos can then match any offer McMillan receivers to retain him. If he doesn’t get any offers, McMillan will make just over a million dollars in Denver this year. The former UDFA broke out in 2024, logging 10 pass breakups, two interceptions, and one pick-six across 17 games. He was credited with a start for nine of those weeks.
