Broncos promoted RB Blake Watson to the active roster.
Watson is an undrafted free agent out of Memphis and has four carries for 10 yards this season. He made the initial 53-man roster for Denver, but was cut and re-signed to the practice squad in October. He returns to the active roster now to throw more hands into the murky Broncos backfield. CB Levi Wallace will be waived in a corresponding move.
  • BAL Running Back #26

Ravens RB Rasheen Ali (hip) will not return in Week 17 against the Texans.
With Justice Hill out for Week 17 because of a concussion, Ali was in line for RB2 duties this week. That didn’t amount to much as he earned one carry which was a loss of three yards. Keaton Mitchell could ascend to the No. 2 role for Week 18 if Ali and Hill remain out.
  • CLE Quarterback #17
Dorian Thompson-Robinson (calf) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski was non-committal when talking about DTR’s availability on Monday, only saying the team will work through their options if he can’t suit up. With Jameis Winston inactive last week because of a shoulder injury, the Browns may be down to Bailey Zappe for Week 17. Needless to say, this is a true wasteland for the final week of the fantasy season.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Chrisitan Watson (knee) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
Per head coach Matt LaFleur, Watson suffered a bone bruise in Week 16 against the Saints. He did not return but was never formally ruled out. LaFleur called the bone bruise diagnosis “good news” and said he could potentially play in Week 17 against the Vikings. Wednesday’s practice report is just an estimation with the Packers taking the day off, so we’ll know more on Thursday. Dontayvion Wicks would take Watson’s place in the lineup if he doesn’t play.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #5
Drake London (hamstring) was estimated as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.
Head coach Raheem Morris told reporters London could have returned to Week 16’s game against the Giants if needed. London left in the fourth quarter of a blowout, so there was no reason to bring him back. An estimated LP tag to open the week suggests London will be out there on Sunday. He will remain a volume-based WR2 for the final week of the fantasy season.
  • TEN Running Back #20
Tony Pollard (ankle) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
Pollard rarely practices anymore, let alone on Wednesday. On top of that, today’s practice report is an estimation by the team as no practices were actually held on Christmas. Stay tuned for Thursday’s report. Tyjae Spears out-carried Pollard 10-8 last week and could be in line for more work if Pollard is ruled out for Week 17.
  • CLE Tight End #85
David Njoku (knee) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters on Monday that Njoku is now dealing with a knee issue. He returned from a hamstring injury last week but played limited snaps. With the Browns out of the playoff hunt, it doesn’t make much sense for Njoku to play through the latest injury. Jordan Akins could make another spot-start on Sunday, though the veteran blocking tight end is not on the fantasy menu, even as the Browns’ top option.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #17
Jaylen Waddle (knee) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
Waddle missed Week 16 with the knee issue. Miami didn’t hold a practice Wednesday due to the holiday, so his status is just a guess from the team. Still, it’s not a great sign for his Week 17 availability. Rookie Malik Washington will hold his starting role in the final week of the fantasy season if Waddle remains sidelined. Washington caught 3-of-4 targets for 28 yards last week.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #17
Terry McLaurin (ankle) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
With no practices being held on Christmas, it’s hard to say how much this phantom DNP means. McLaurin has not been listed on the injury report because of the ankle issue before this week, so it appears to be a new injury. It’s a waiting game for fantasy managers counting on Washington’s top receiver this week. Should he miss Sunday’s game, Olamide Zaccheaus, Dyami Brown, and Jamison Crowder would serve as Jayden Daniels’ top receivers for Week 17.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #17
Davante Adams (hip) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
The Jets didn’t practice today, so Thursday’s report will be more telling. Adams is no stranger to rest days, so he could be unphased by the issue come game-time. Should he miss Week 17, Garrett Wilson would dominate the targets for the final week of the fantasy season. Allen Lazard would also see an uptick in opportunities.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
Jalen Hurts (concussion) was estimated as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday.
The Eagles didn’t host a practice because of the holidays, but Hurts would not have been out there if this was a normal week. Philly’s superstar passer is at real risk of missing Week 17 after sustaining a game-ending concussion last week. Kenny Pickett, who was estimated as limited because of a rib injury, is in line to start this week. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for streaming quarterback production this week. Pickett threw for 143 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in relief of Hurts last week.
