ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Tyreek Hill (wrist/personal) is expected to play in Week 16 against the 49ers.
Hill suffered the wrist injury in training camp and it has become more of a problem as of late. He has routinely been getting time off in practice and closed this week’s proceedings with a limited session before being listed as questionable. That was after a full session on Thursday and a DNP on Wednesday. With Jaylen Waddle out for Week 16, Miami needs Hill now more than ever. The absence of Waddle moves Hill up a few spots in the WR2 ranks versus the 49ers.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #13

    Commanders re-signed WR K.J. Osborn to a one-year contract.
Osborn, who is entering his age 28 season, is no lock to make the roster. He was claimed off waivers by the Commanders in December 2024, and appeared in one game during the regular season (he did not appear in any of Washington’s playoff games). He signed with the Patriots prior to the 2024 season, and played in seven games. He spent his first four seasons with the Vikings, recording 15 of his 16 career touchdown receptions.
  • SF Running Back #44
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports free agent FB Kyle Juszczyk is meeting with the Steelers.
Juszczyk was released by the 49ers earlier this week and is now free to sign with any team. The 34-year-old, do-it-all fullback can fill a number of roles for the Steelers and led all fullbacks with 245 routes run last season, per PFF and has run 200 or more routes in each of his last four seasons. Whether it’s with the Steelers or somewhere else, Juszczyk should have no trouble landing a job for the 2025 season.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #13
Steelers re-signed WR Scotty Miller to a one-year contract.
Miller caught five passes for 69 yards last season while playing in a limited backup role. The veteran receiver joined the Steelers after spending the 2023 season with the Falcons and current Steelers OC Arthur Smith. His best season came in 2020, when he posted a 33-501-3 line while with the Buccaneers, but there’s no reason to expect him to replicate that line anytime soon.
  • PIT Quarterback #11
Steelers sign QB Mason Rudolph, formerly of the Titans, to a two-year, $8 million contract.
Rudolph returns to the team that drafted him in 2018, and will receive $4.5 million in guaranteed money. Primarily a backup in his six seasons with the Steelers, Rudolph did make 13 starts, posting an 8-4-1 record. He started Pittsburgh’s Wild Card loss to Buffalo in 2023. In his lone season with the Titans, Rudolph appeared in eight games, making five starts. He has passed for 4,615 yards with 28 touchdowns and 20 interceptions in 29 career games. It should go without saying, but the Steelers are still expected to be in the mix to sign Aaron Rodgers, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. Even if Rodgers doesn’t sign with Pittsburgh, it’s hard to imagine the Steelers going into Rudolph as their QB1.
  • NO Cornerback #22
Saints signed CB Isaac Yiadom, formerly of the 49ers, to a three-year, $9 million contract.
Yiadom returns to the Saints, who he played for in 2022 and 2023. The 29-year-old corner joined the 49ers on a one-year deal last offseason and appeared in all 17 games while making five starts. In those games, Yiadom totaled 46 tackles and one interception while also breaking up six passes and earning a PFF coverage grade of 55.3. One of Yiadom’s best seasons as a pro came in 2023 while with the Saints, where he broke up a career-high 13 passes. His signing doesn’t fully address the secondary problems the Saints had last season, but he’s a good depth signing who should be able to provide them plenty of snaps at a good value.
  • PHI Linebacker #55
Eagles signed LB Joshua Uche, formerly of the Chiefs, to a one-year contract.
A six-year veteran of the league, Uche’s best season came in 2022 when he totaled 27 tackles and 11.5 sacks. It’s the only time in his career he’s surpassed three sacks in a season, but the Eagles will help Uche can find a way to help bolster a pass-rushing corps that lost Brandon Graham to retirement and Josh Sweat in free agency. Uche has played primarily on passing downs during his career and can be expected to do the same thing with the Eagles.
  • MIA Linebacker #52
Dolphins signed LB K.J. Britt, formerly of the Buccaneers, to a one-year contract.
The 25-year-old Britt is essentially replacing fellow LB Anthony Walker, who signed with the Buccaneers. Britt started 11 of 14 games in 2024, registering career highs in both defensive snaps and tackles. Britt spent four seasons with Tampa Bay after being selected in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
  • TB Linebacker #6
Buccaneers signed LB Anthony Walker, formerly of the Dolphins, to a one-year contract.
Walker is an eight-year veteran of the league who started eight of the 14 games he played for the Dolphins last season. His move to Tampa correlates with former Buccaneers linebacker K.J. Britt’s signing with the Dolphins, as Walker will likely replace Britt’s role from 2024. Walker totaled 68 tackles and one sack last season while also forcing an interception. He’s a solid depth signing who can provide starting caliber snaps when necessary.
  • CIN Defensive End #91
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports teams around the league think the Bengals’ asking price to trade for Trey Hendrickson is “ridiculous.”
It’s not all that surprising to hear that a team that stubbornly struggled to re-sign its key players is equally as difficult when it comes to trading others. Russini reports that “teams are willing to pay Hendrickson the contract he desires,” suggesting that the asking price on the Bengals’ end is simply too much to get a deal done at this time. Hendrickson will be 30 at the start of next season and has racked up 34 sacks over the last two years. By allowing Hendrickson to seek a trade with another suitor, the belief is the team will eventually sign Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to long-term deals this offseason. Their asking price for Hendrickson could eventually come down, but with the offseason just getting underway, the Bengals could opt to wait to see how things develop in the coming months.
  • FA Center #60
    Patriots released C David Andrews.
As Reiss points out, Andrews is an eight-time captain for the Patriots. The veteran center is recovering from a shoulder surgery that limited him to just four games last season and could opt for retirement rather than continuing his career elsewhere. A pillar of the Patriots’ franchise for several years, Andrews has started 121 of the 124 games he’s appeared in and has spent his entire career in New England. We’ll see where things go from here, but the two-time Super Bowl champ is now free to sign with any team interested in his services.
