Sam Howell completed 5-of-14 passes for 24 yards and interception in the Seahawks’ 30-13, Week 15 loss to the Packers, adding two yards on his lone carry.
Howell also took four sacks in addition to the interception thrown, which is in line with what we saw from him a season ago while playing for the Commanders. His pocket awareness and ability to diagnose the blitz, pressure, and opposing coverages is simply lacking, which could put the Seahawks in a bind moving forward if Geno Smith can’t make it back in time for the team’s Week 16 matchup against the Vikings. The loss drops the Seahawks out of the playoff picture in the NFC and they have three difficult opponents in the Vikings, Bears, and division rival Rams remaining. It certainly appears to be an uphill battle for the Seahawks to make the postseason after they had rattled of four consecutive wins before this loss.

Tyler Lockett caught 3-of-7 targets for 15 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 15 loss to the Packers.
Although the seven targets looks good on paper, three of those looks were effectively thrown at the feet of the veteran tight end as Geno Smith scrambled to avoid pressure. He then saw just a single look from backup quarterback Sam Howell after Smith was forced from the game with a knee injury in the third quarter. Things don’t get any better for Fant and the Seahawks considering the injury to their starting quarterback and a matchup with the Vikings looming.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #16
Tyler Lockett caught his lone target for 22 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 15 loss to the Packers.
Lockett has been almost entirely phased out of the offense with the emergence of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the latter of whom saw a robust 12 targets in the loss to the Packers. Fantasy managers that were clinging to hope with the rugged veteran can surely cut ties as the fantasy playoffs surge on.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14
DK Metcalf caught all three targets for 28 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 15 loss to the Packers.
Metcalf was involved early but quickly became victim of rolled coverages in his direction before being forced to catch passes from Sam Howell for the final 20 minutes after Geno Smith was forced from the game with a knee injury. Fantasy managers will want to track the status of Smith ahead of a Week 16 showdown with the Vikings with the team’s playoff hopes on the line.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #11
Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 10-of-12 targets for 83 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 15 loss to the Packers.
Things started off hot for Smith-Njigba in the first half as he served as the featured player through the air. Things then took a drastic turn in the third quarter when Geno Smith was forced from the game with a knee injury, with Sam Howell then filling in under center for the remainder of the game. Even so, Smith-Njigba has seen his role grow immensely ever sinve DK Metcalf missed two games in Week 8 and Week 9, now responsible with a primary pass-catching role for a team near the top of the league in pass attempts per game. Fantasy managers will want to track the status of Smith as a Week 16 matchup against the Vikings appraoches.
  • SEA Running Back #26
Zach Charbonnet rushed eight times for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ Week 15 loss to the Packers, adding 12 yards on his lone reception.
Charbonnet was victimized by negative game script in this one after the Packers jumped out to an early 14-0 lead before taking a 20-3 lead into the half. Geno Smith would then be forced from the game in the third quarter after having his leg rolled up on, which left the team in a state of disarray for the remainder of the game. Charbonnet will remain a low-end RB1 for as long as Kenneth Walker remains out.
  • GB Wide Receiver #13
Dontayvion Wicks caught both targets for 14 yards in the Packers’ Week 15 win over the Seahawks.
Wicks retreated to a complimentary role with the return of Romeo Doubs, typically serving as the fourth wide receiver when the top three are healthy. He remains an intriguing stash through fantasy playoffs for his upside in the event of an injury ahead of him but should not be trusted in rosters with the team now healthy at pass-catcher.
  • GB Wide Receiver #11
Jayden Reed caught 5-of-6 targets for 34 yards in the Packers’ Week 15 win over the Seahawks, adding 27 yards on three carries.
Reed continues to play a true slot role for the Packers that is accompanied by suboptimal snap rates. His typical schemed rushing works helps to inflate his weekly floor but he has not seen enough volume to return to fantasy stardom since before the team’s Week 10 bye. Reed and the Packers host the reeling Saints in Week 15.
  • GB Tight End #85
Tucker Kraft caught both targets for 34 yards in the Packers’ Week 15 win over the Seahawks.
Kraft’s two targets were a result of a positive game environment that saw quarterback Jordan Love attempt just 27 passes after the Packers took a 20-3 lead into the half. His largest contribution came on a 26-yard reception down the middle of the field after the Packers caught the Seahawks with too many men on the field, with Love heaving a pass sky-high in the face of pressure only for Kraft to come down with it over two defenders for the chunk gain. Kraft’s next chance to return a usable fantasy score comes in Week 15 against the hapless Saints at home.
  • GB Wide Receiver #87
Romeo Doubs caught 3-of-5 targets for 40 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers’ Week 15 win over the Seahawks.
Doubs’ first touchdown came at the end of the first quarter to extend the Green Bay lead to 14 points and his second touchdown bookended the scoring for the Packers on a highlight reel catch in the back of the end zone with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Doubs returned to the active roster after missing the previous two games with a concussion suffered in Week 12 and played the second most offensive snaps alongside Christian Watson. His next opportunity to return fantasy viability comes in Week 15 against the Saints.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Christian Watson caught 3-of-6 targets for 56 yards in the Packers’ Week 15 win over the Seahawks.
Watson did the bulk of his damage on a 36-yard reception down the left sideline on a free play after quarterback Jordan Love got the Seahawks to jump offside. Watson’s modest volume came on a night Love attempted only 27 passes due to the positive nature of the game script after the Packers scored on their opening possession and took a 20-3 lead into the break. It certainly appears as if Watson has worked his way back into a featured role after dealing with numerous injuries this season, playing the highest snap rate of the Green Bay wide receivers for the third consecutive game.
