Drake Maye completed 19-of-23 passes for 202 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Patriots’ 17-3, Week 15 loss to the Cardinals, adding four carries for 14 yards and a touchdown.
Maye finished the first half a perfect 10-of-10 but only had three points to show for it. He eventually broke the streak in the second half and tossed a touchdown and later an interception, though the pick was hardly his fault. Maye hit Kayshon Boutte in the hands on a pass over the middle of the field. Boutte failed to field the throw and batted it into the air for a Cardinals interception. This was not even the first time a New England pass-catcher tipped a ball to a defender this season. The Pats’ supporting cast is doing more harm than good at times, making it hard to trust Maye from a fantasy perspective. His rushing output, however, will keep him in the middle of the QB2 pack for Week 16’s matchup with the Bills.
