  • BUF Quarterback #17

Josh Allen completed 22-of-37 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns in the Bills’ 44-42, Week 14 loss to the Rams, adding 82 rushing yards and three additional touchdowns on the ground.
It’s a clear reminder of why Allen is QB1 in fantasy football and a frontrunner for the MVP. The Bills quarterback missed on a few throws in the face of pressure from the Rams’ defensive line and just missed a huge touchdown to Mack Hollins on a great play by the Rams secondary, but he got pretty much everything else he wanted. With the Bills being challenged offensively for the first time in eight weeks, the offense needed to keep their foot on the gas, which led to an incredible fantasy effort from Allen. We could look for more of the same next week against the high-powered Lions offense with Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman likely back in the lineup as well.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14

DK Metcalf (shoulder) was a full participant for Thursday’s practice.
Metcalf didn’t practice at all Wednesday, but it appears to just be maintenance as the Seahawks do their best to keep the wideout healthy for the final few weeks. It seems likely that Metcalf will be on the field for Week 16 against the Vikings, but it’s worth noting it’s been five games since Metcalf has found the end zone and he hasn’t gone over 100 yards since September 30.
  • SEA Running Back #9
Kenneth Walker (calf) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
After missing Wednesday’s practice — and the last two games — Walker getting in a full session is delightful news for fantasy managers hoping to play the 24-year-old tailback Sunday. Assuming no setbacks, it seems very likely Walker will get the ball an awful lot in Week 16 against the Vikings. That workload could be even bigger if Zach Charbonnet (oblique) not able to practice Thursday.
  • LAC Tight End #88
Hayden Hurst (hip) is active for Week 16 against the Broncos.
Hurt will be playing for the first time since the end of November after being placed on injured reserve with his hip injury He isn’t likely to be a major fantasy contributor, but with Will Dissly (shoulder) inactive, it could open up some snaps/targets. The remaining inactives for the Chargers are CB Cam Hart S Elijah Molden LB Shaquille Quarterman OL Brenden Jaimes OL Jordan McFadden and QB Easton Stick (emergency QB)
  • DEN Running Back #38
Broncos declared RB Jaleel McLaughlin, QB Zack Wilson, CB Riley Moss, CB Levi Wallace, LB Levelle Bailey, T Frank Hennigan and DL Matt Henningsen inactive for Week 16 against the Chargers.
McLaughlin was ruled out Wednesday for Week 16 by the Broncos on Wednesday, but it’s just a friendly reminder. Wilson will be the emergency third quarterback for the Thursday Night Football contest.
  • SEA Quarterback #7
Geno Smith (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday.
Seahawks offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb told reporters Thursday that Smith took every snap during the session, and looked good doing it. The 34-year-old was forced out of action during Sunday’s blowout loss to the Packers, but it appears all systems are go for a must-win — or pretty close to it — game against the Vikings in Week 16.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #11
A.J. Brown (knee/rest) was a limited participant during Thursday’s practice.
Brown missed Wednesday’s practice with the rest designation — something that’s quite common this late in the year — but it’s the adding of the knee to the injury report Thursday that makes this a situation to pay a little closer attention ton. It seems likely the 27-year-old will play against the Commanders on Sunday in Week 16, but a full session Friday would be nice to see.
  • NYJ Running Back
Braelon Allen (back) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
That makes back-to-back practices with a limited session for Allen. The 20-year-old hasn’t been able to be a full go this week, nor has Isaiah Davis as Davis got another limited session with a back ailment of his own. It could be a game against the Rams on Sunday where Breece Hall touches the ball an awful lot. He probably would, anyway. Neither Davis nor Allen are on the fantasy radar for Week 16.
  • CLE Quarterback #5
Jameis Winston (shoulder) was listed in Thursday’s practice.
Winston is slated to backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson against the Bengals in Week 16, but the shoulder ailment could make that untenable. If Winston can’t go, Bailey Zappe would likely be the second-string signal-caller.
  • CLE EDGE #95
Myles Garrett did not practice Thursday due to a back injury.
It’s a new issue for Garrett, as he was not listed on the on the injury report Wednesday by the Browns. With Cleveland playing for nothing but a chance at a higher draft pick, the team won’t take any chances with its best player, but it’s worth noting that Garrett is just a half sack away from 100 for his career.
  • LAR Tight End #89
Jordan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports that Tyler Higbee did not practice Thursday due to illness.
Higbee was activated off injured reserve Tuesday after missing the first 14 games of the season due to his ACL injury. Rodrigue notes that McVay will update Higbee’s status before Friday. It seems likely Higbee plays, but he’d be a dart-throw tight end — if that — for his debut against the Jets in Week 16.
