Patrick Mahomes completed 27-of-37 attempts for 269 yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs’ 30-27 Week 12 win against the Panthers, adding five rushes for 60 yards.
The touchdown regression has bounced all the way back for Mahomes after a halting first couple months of the regular season. He now has ten touchdown passes over his past four games, and more than 260 passing yards in all but one of those contests. The Kansas City offense, meanwhile, is getting back to its pass-heavy origins, creating volume for Mahomes and his pass catchers, particularly Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins. Mahomes could very well be a top-12 option next week against a leaky Raiders secondary.

Cam Akers rushed three times for 19 yards in the Vikings’ Week 12 win over the Bears.
Akers entered the week with 26 touches on a near 1B role over his past two appearances. Aaron Jones put plenty of space between himself and Akerrs versus the Bears with 22 carries to Akers’ three. He also caught three balls while Akers reeled in his only target for a six-yard gain. Akers remains the clear backup to Jones but doesn’t have standalone fantasy value heading into Week 13.

Mike Evans caught 5-of-6 targets for 68 yards in the Bucs’ Week 12 win over the Giants.
  • NYG Linebacker #51
Giants EDGE Azeez Ojulari suffered a toe injury in Week 12’s loss to the Buccaneers.
Ojulari is in the midst of one of his best seasons as a pro. Through 11 games, the veteran pass rusher has recorded six sacks and has 28 tackles on the year to go with 10 TFLs. We don’t yet know the severity of his injury, but it’s possible the Giants will be without one of their top pass rushers in Thursday’s game against the Cowboys.

Aaron Jones rushed 22 times for 106 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings’ Week 12 win over the Bears, adding three catches for 23 yards.
Jones opened the day with a lost fumble at the goal line. He was hit behind the line of scrimmage and had the ball knocked out while attempting a second-effort push toward the end zone. He has struggled to punch in his looks near the end zone this season but made fantasy managers whole in the third quarter with a score from three yards own. Jones also easily out-carried backup Cam Akers, who ran three times and caught his only target. Firmly ahead of Akers in the pecking order for touches, Jones is a staple of the RB2 ranks heading into Week 13 versus the Cardinals.

Tyrone Tracy rushed nine times for 42 yards in the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Bucs, adding four receptions for 28 yards.
No one on the Giants covered themselves in glory in Tommy DeVito’s 2024 starting debut, but Tracy had one of the roughest afternoons. With the G-Men trailing 23-0, Tracy lost a goal-line fumble on their opening drive of the second half. Disastrous, especially when paired with his giveaway against the Panthers in Week 10. Book-ending a bye week with fumbles is going to be a massive issue for any rookie, though the go-nowhere Giants lack incentive to bench Tracy. That being said, he lost a goal-line look to Devin Singletary the following drive and didn’t see another touch until there were five minutes remaining. We will still fire Tracy up as a Week 13 RB2 against the Cowboys’ awful run defense, but there is growing volatility here.
  • DET Wide Receiver #11
Kalif Raymond suffered a foot injury in the Lions’ Week 12 win over the Colts.
Raymond exited Sunday’s game against the Colts and did not return to the field. When discussing player injuries after the game, head coach Dan Campbell made light of several players’ injuries while saying Raymond’s was “a little more serious.” It sounds like Raymond is at risk of missing some time and is probably a long shot to play in Week 13 against the Bears on a short week. Raymond was held without a catch in Sunday’s win.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
Tank Dell caught 3-of-5 targets for 72 yards in Houston’s Week 12 loss to the Titans.
Dell had a 39-yard catch to set up Houston’s second touchdown drive, but otherwise was more of a bystander than you’d like and had a key ball over the middle defensed by Jarvis Brownlee in the fourth quarter. We suppose if he was ever going to live up to the WR3/FLEX hype it would be against the Jaguars next week, but Dell hasn’t been in the end zone in a month and doesn’t have a 10-target game all season.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #12
Nico Collins caught 5-of-9 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s Week 12 loss to the Titans.
It could have been a bigger day as Collins scored a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter before an illegal shift penalty brought it all back. Collins got free for a 56-yarder in man coverage and looked fully healthy. He’ll be on the WR1 line against the Jaguars next week, but we’re a little underwhelmed by how the Texans passing offense has looked with him back.

Sam Darnold completed 22-of-34 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings’ 3-27, Week 12 overtime win over the Bears.
An Aaron Jones goal line fumble on the opening drive foreshadowed a shaky four quarters for the Vikings. The highs were high and included completions of 45 and 69 yards to Jordan Addison. The lows, on the other hand, were equally as frustrating. Minnesota had a 40-yard touchdown to Justin Jefferson called back by offensive pass interference. The Vikings eventually settled for a field goal. The lead looked insurmountable at the time but vanished in just two minutes thanks to a quick touchdown, the first successful onside kick of the year, and a field goal. Darnold briefly appeared to be choking the game away with a catastrophic sack on Minnesota’s first offensive snap in overtime. The journeyman recovered admirably with six straight completions to set up a game-winning field goal. Things should run more smoothly in a matchup with the Cardinals at home next week. Darnold will remain near the top of the QB2 ranks for Week 13.
  • KC Wide Receiver #1
Xavier Worthy caught 4-of-6 targets for 46 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 12 win against the Panthers, adding one rush for five yards.
Worthy’s long reception was a 19-yard catch in the first half on well-placed ball from Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes targeted Worthy downfield a couple times to no avail, and the Chiefs set up a red zone target for Worthy that went nowhere. The undersized, underwhelming rookie now has three games with more than three receptions. He profiles as a boom-bust WR4 option for Week 13 against the Raiders, who gave up a touchdown to Worthy in Week 8.
