  • MIA Defensive Back #29

Dolphins declared RB Jeff Wilson, Jr., CB Ethan Bonner, CB Kendall Fuller, LB Mohamed Kamara, OL Andrew Meyer, TE Jack Stoll, and WR Dee Eskridge inactive for Week 12 against the Patriots.
There are no major surprises here as Fuller could not make it back from a concussion he suffered in Week 10. 2023 second-round pick Cam Smith should see more snaps in his absence. The big names for Miami are the ones that are not here as both Alec Ingold and Terron Armstead will be active, which should be a big boost for De’von Achane and the running game.
  • TEN Cornerback #38

Titans GM Mike Borgonzi said CB L’Jarius Sneed (knee) will start on the PUP list and is “week to week” after undergoing a “cleanup” surgery.
Good to know things project to be normal with Sneed again this year. Sneed declared himself healthy in late June, but this puts him at a real chance of missing 2025 action. The Titans did note that he’s officially shook his quad injury, so at least there’s that on the positive side of the ledger.
Cowboys reportedly unhappy with Blue's work habits
Patrick Daugherty reacts to a report around Cowboys rookie Jaydon Blue's work habits and why this is happening at "the right time" with room to course correct before Week 1.
  • FA Running Back #34
    Commanders released RB Michael Wiley.
This is the corresponding move to the Von Miller addition. Wiley spent all of last season with the Commanders practice squad after signing in 2024 out of Arizona. He’ll look to catch on elsewhere as camp begins.
  • IND Linebacker #44
Colts GM Chris Ballard said LB Zaire Franklin (ankle) won’t open training camp on PUP.
Despite that, Franklin won’t be ready to go right at the outset of camp. Still, this qualifies as great news for the linebacker as he looks to reprise a strong IDP role for the Colts in 2025. The 29-year-old linebacker had ankle surgery following the year and missed Colts OTAs and minicamp earlier in the offseason.
  • CAR Defensive End #95
Panthers GM Dan Morgan said Derrick Brown (knee) is “cleared for all activity.”
Of course, the caveat is that the Panthers “will be smart” with the Pro Bowl defensive lineman. Brown’s status for the season doesn’t look to be in any doubt after his season-ending meniscus injury in Week 1 last year, but he’ll likely have plenty of off-days in training camp.
  • CAR Tight End #82
Panthers GM Dan Morgan wouldn’t put a timetable on when Tommy Tremble (back) will be activated from the active/PUP list.
It’s probably a step too far to be “concerned” about this, but it does make it seem like Tremble won’t be a real threat to be activated until late in training camp. Ja’Tavion Sanders will be the beneficiary of extra work with the starters and seems to be in a good spot to grab a strong role in his second season.
  • NYG Safety #24
    Giants signed S K’Von Wallace.
The former Seahawk, Titan, Cardinal, and Eagle will be a depth piece for the Giants this year behind Tyler Nubin and Jevon Holland. He was placed on IR after nine weeks with the Seahawks last year. Wallace played fairly well in 2022 and 2023, so he qualifies as a real threat to win a job on the 53-man roster despite his late signing.
  • ARI Cornerback
Cardinals signed second-round CB Will Johnson to a four-year contract.
He was one of the final three rookies not signed, and he leaves Shemar Stewart and Quinshon Judkins as the only unsigned players entering training camp. Johnson is expected to compete to start for the Cardinals instantly in his first season, as there are only waiver claims and late-camp additions competing with him for the job next to 2023 third-rounder Garrett Williams and 2024 second-rounder Max Melton.
  • FA Outside Linebacker #0
LB Lorenzo Carter has retired after seven NFL seasons.
Titans GM Mike Borgonzi announced the news ahead of the Titans opening training camp. Carter finishes with 62 career starts, 21.5 sacks, and 278 combined tackles over his seven years with the Giants and Falcons. The former third-round pick made a career out of being a tweener linebacker/EDGE. He was expected to be a depth piece for the Titans this year, and his retirement will likely push second-rounder Oluwafemi Oladejo into a bigger role in 2025.
  • LAR Running Back #23
Rams RB Kyren Williams reported to the first day of the team’s training camp.
There wasn’t much questions Williams should show up for camp. It’s noteworthy, however, since Williams is in talks with the Rams about a contract extension headed into his fourth NFL season. The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue reported two weeks ago that Williams’ contract extension “could be worked out by the end of training camp,” but notes that “the Rams will not pay top-market money for a running back.” Among the least efficient rushers in the NFL, Williams over the past two seasons has totaled 2,443 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns as LA’s lead back. There’s not much reason to believe Blake Corum or rookie RB Jarquez Hunter have a chance of usurping Williams — a longtime Sean McVay favorite — for RB1 duties in 2025.
  • IND Quarterback #5
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) will not be placed on the PUP list to start training camp.
That might not quite be the case, as Colts GM Chris Ballard said Richardson will have “no restrictions other than volume.” Schultz said Richardson, coming off his second shoulder surgery in two years, is “trending toward being full-go with no restrictions” to start camp. Daniel Jones took all the team’s first-team reps in offseason practices and is widely expected to start the regular season under center, though The Athletic’s James Boyd said Tuesday that it’s “still possible” Richardson could seize the QB1 job with an impressive camp and preseason. If Richardson somehow wins the Week 1 job, it would represent a major blow to the fantasy value of both Josh Downs and Michael Pittman.
