  • NE Wide Receiver #2

Patriots declared WR K.J. Osborn, DE Titus Leo, QB Joe Milton, G Tyrese Robinson, NT Jaquelin Roy, and DE Deatrich Wise inactive for Week 12 against the Dolphins.
No real surprises here. K.J. Osborn continues to be inactive despite putting together some solid stretches for the Vikings in previous seasons.
  • LV Safety #25

    Raiders signed S Jamal Adams.
Adams played in five games last year between the Lions and Titans, and hasn’t played more than 10 games in a season since 2021. This should probably best be regarded as a depth signing unless we see the former All-Pro safety start making headlines in training camp.
Cowboys reportedly unhappy with Blue's work habits
Patrick Daugherty reacts to a report around Cowboys rookie Jaydon Blue's work habits and why this is happening at "the right time" with room to course correct before Week 1.
  • CIN Running Back #31
Bengals placed Zack Moss (neck) on the active/non-football injury list.
Moss can be activated off the list at any time. There was some question if Moss would actually return to the Bengals this year, but after taking a paycut he is expected to be part of the rotation behind Chase Brown in 2025. How quickly he can actually get on to the field probably has some say in how the running back depth chart plays out this year.
  • LAR Tackle #77
Rams coach Sean McVay said the team would not place Alaric Jackson (blood clots) on the PUP or NFI lists.
“For now, Jackson will do individual drills with the athletic training staff and participate in jog-throughs, but not the physical OL activities,” per Rams.com’s Stu Jackson. While it’s a good sign that they haven’t placed him on either of the lists, it sure sounds like Jackson’s status is unknown going forward at this point. Until we get a report that he’s on the practice field going full-bore, he probably should not be counted on to start this year.
  • DAL Cornerback #7
Cowboys placed CB Trevon Diggs (knee) on the active/PUP list.
Ditto DeMarvion Overshown, while rookie CB Shavon Revel got an active/NFI listing. Diggs has said his goal is to be back in Week 1, but early offseason reporting was less certain that he’d be ready for the start of the season. Overshown will likely only be back in the closing stages of the season after a late-season ACL tear.
  • LAC Running Back #22
Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said he doesn’t know if Najee Harris (eye) will be back for training camp.
So our signs so far are: Harris is on the PUP list, the coaching staff doesn’t know when he’ll play, and the team immediately signed Nyheim Hines. Not looking great for Harris on the face of it. Omarion Hampton will get a long runway to be the Chargers No. 1 back if it plays out with Harris not participating in training camp. His fantasy stock goes higher every time the Chargers speak another word about Harris’ injury.
  • NO Tight End #7
Saints GM Mickey Loomis said TEs Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) would start training camp on the PUP list.
Hill remains without a timetable. It would be surprising if Hill played this year after a late-season ACL tear, though Loomis expressed that he expects him to play in 2025. Loomis said that the rehab has “all been positive” so far for both players.
  • NO Quarterback #12
Saints GM Mickey Loomis said there are three candidates to start at quarterback this year in Tyler Shough, Spencer Rattler, and Jake Haener.
Sure grandpa, let’s get you back to the salary cap page. Loomis noted that “the most important thing here is not speed, it’s accuracy” and said it would be a “coach’s decision.” Considering the new head coach decided he’d feel more comfortable selecting a quarterback in the second round, we’d be surprised if Shough wasn’t the starter. But this was always going to come down to a training camp battle. Get ready to learn breathless reporting on Spencer Rattler’s 7-on-7 play, buddy.
  • SF Tackle #78
49ers placed G Ben Bartch (quad) on the active/NFI list.
The word from the 49ers brass was that Bartch would be healthy “relatively soon.” Bartch’s listing means he can come off the NFI list at any point in training camp. He reportedly hurt the quad in an offseason workout. Bartch is in line to compete for the 49ers starting left guard job.
  • LV Defensive Tackle #94
Raiders coach Pete Carroll said a timeline for Christian Wilkins (foot) remains “uncertain.”
Wilkins was placed on the active/PUP list yesterday, but this seems to point towards Wilkins being a ways from actually participating in training camp. The 29-year-old star free-agent signing had a setback with his foot this offseason and has spent much of it in a walking boot. It would be unsurprising if he missed time this season considering how this has gone so far, but there’s still a month and change for Wilkins to make it back on to the field.
  • FA Safety #32
S Tyrann Mathieu announced his retirement from the NFL after 12 seasons.
Saints GM Mickey Loomis said he was a little surprised after he learned this would happen a few days ago. The three-time All-Pro safety retires just ahead of training camp with the Saints. Honey Badger started 171 games over his 12 NFL years, intercepting 36 balls and creating 838 combined tackles. At his best, Mathieu was a havoc creator for the Cardinals, Texans, and Chiefs. Jonas Sanker and Jordan Howden are among the in-house replacements in New Orleans to start next to Justin Reid.
