  • DAL Cornerback #7

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs is out for Week 12 against the Commanders.
The same goes for right guard Zack Martin, who is dealing with both ankle and shoulder injuries and was previously listed as doubtful. The Cowboys find themselves in the middle of a lost season with mounting injuries on both sides of the ball, not exactly a recipe for success against one of the most competitive teams in the NFC.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #0

Calvin Ridley (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.
Ridley did talk to reporters at his locker on Wednesday and Brian Callahan did say some guys would get “a rest” on Wednesday, so it’s possible that this is just maintenance. Thursday’s report will tell if the DNP was a trend or a blip. We’d tentatively expect Ridley to play.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #1
Darnell Mooney (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Falcons coach Raheem Morris said before practice that Mooney was “looking good and feeling good,” just like Billy Ray. Morris added that he feels good about him this week. This is certainly an encouraging Wednesday for Mooney’s chances of suiting up on Sunday against the Chargers.
  • FA Head Coach
ESPN’s Dan Graziano writes that the place that “makes the most sense for Belichick, to me, is Jacksonville.”
Graziano and Jeremy Fowler characterize Belichick as on the second-tier of available head coaches this offseason, behind both Lions coordinators and close to former Titans head coach Mike Vrabel. Graziano doesn’t buy the idea of Belichick joining the Cowboys or Giants. It certainly makes plenty of sense for the Jaguars to wind up with Belichick given how adrift things have seemed with Doug Pederson.
  • DET Tackle #68
Lions ruled out LT Taylor Decker (knee) for Week 13 against the Bears.
Decker’s absence is a big blow for a Lions offensive line tasked with slowing Bears DE Montez Sweat. The Lions’ defense will also be short-staffed; CB Carlton Davis III (knee/thumb) has likewise been ruled out.
  • IND Quarterback #5
ESPN’s Dan Graziano thinks Anthony Richardson will return in 2025 “as long as GM Chris Ballard and coach Shane Steichen do.”
Return does not necessarily mean that Richardson will start, of course, but after two years with Richardson a new head coach and general manager would likely want to bring in their own quarterback. While Richardson at least has made his way back to the field and played nominally better — despite poor completion percentages — the dynasty storm clouds remain on the horizon for him this offseason. Particularly if the Colts can’t finish strong. This’ll be a situation to watch on Black Monday.
  • DET Wide Receiver #14
Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) is questionable for Week 13 against the Bears.
St. Brown was upgraded to FP status to close the week, which bodes positively for both his game-day availability and productivity. The Lions could opt for a run-heavy game plan if they jump out to an early lead but the improved Bears offense under interim OC Thomas Brown should keep the Lions’ passing volume at a fantasy-friendly level. St. Brown is a back-end WR1 for the occasion.
  • SEA Linebacker #10
Seahawks designated LB Uchenna Nwosu (thigh) to return from injured reserve.
They did the same for Stone Forsythe, opening 21-day practice windows for each player. Nwosu has played just 20 snaps this year after tearing his pectoral late in 2023 and immediately suffering this thigh injury in his 2024 debut in Week 5. He’d be a big boost to Seattle’s pass rush down the stretch.
  • DET Running Back #5
David Montgomery (shoulder) is questionable for Week 13 against the Bears
Montgomery progressed through all three injury designations this week, going from DNP to LP to FP. His questionable status appears to be more of a formality than anything else. Fantasy managers should fire up Montgomery as a borderline RB1/2 as he faces his former team on Thanksgiving.
  • BUF Linebacker #58
Bills LB Matt Milano (biceps) practiced in full on Wednesday.
It seems likely that Milano will make his season debut this week after suffering a torn biceps in training camp. Milano was limited all last week, and this is his first full practice of the year. Assuming we don’t see any downgrades on Thursday or Friday, we expect him to suit up against the 49ers on Sunday. Bills coach Sean McDermott would only offer an answer of “we’ll see.”
  • NYJ Tackle #77
Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said injured reserve is now a “stronger consideration” for Tyron Smith (neck).
Smith’s neck isn’t improving at the rate the Jets had hoped. It would not at all be surprising if the Jets placed the veteran on IR considering their lack of anything to play for this year, they might as well see what Olu Fashanu can be at left tackle. So far, so good on that front, as the rookie has played better at his natural position against the Cardinals and Colts in New York’s last two games.
