Dell was the clear-cut top target for the Texans, and certainly showed off his athleticism. That was particularly apparent on a 50-yard connection from C.J. Stroud, and he helped move the chains a few times in this contest. The Texans should get Nico Collins (hamstring) back from injured reserve in Week 10, but Dell is going to be involved in this offense; enough to make him a WR2 in most matchups.

The good news is this was infinitely more production for Williams than he had in Week 8 when he wasn’t targeted. The bad news is see above. Williams is a non-factor who fantasy managers should hope is traded before the Nov. 5 deadline. There’s no fantasy value with the Jets barring an injury to Davante Adams or Garrett Wilson. Maybe even not then.

C.J. Stroud was attempting to get the football to Schultz, but thanks to in inaccurate effort from Stroud and a horrible effort from the Houston offensive line, the results were limited, to put it nicely. Still, it’s nice to see the 6-foot-5 tight end continue to see a healthy number of targets, and he’ll be a high-end TE2 for Week 10 against the Texans even if Nico Collins (hamstring) returns to take some touches.

Woods received the fourth most targets in this contest behind Tank Dell (nine) and Dalton Schultz and Dare Ogunbowale each receiving three. The wideout made a nice catch on a 32-yard reception near the end of the contest, but was mostly a non-factor. Woods is a high-risk, medium-reward option in this Houston offense, and that will continue in Week 10 against the Lions.

Hall was efficient in the contest, but wasn’t able to bust the big one with a long gain of 16 yards. The consistent four-plus yard gains certainly help fantasy managers, but unfortunately it’s another game without a score for the 23-year-old tailback. Braelon Allen was hardly involved with just four attempts for nine yards, so it’s not a question of volume. Hall will hope to find the end zone in Week 10 against the Cardinals.

Adams made two massive catches in the contest. The first was on a 4th-and-1 where he put Kwame Lassiter on skates, but he was driven hard into the ground on that offering and sent to be evaluated for a concussion. The second put the game away, as he beat one-on-one coverage for a 37-yard touchdown that featured a perfect throw from Aaron Rodgers to make it 21-10. Adams had easily his best game as a Jet, and will look to match — or beat — that production in Week 10 against the Cardinals.

He wasn’t targeted in the passing game. Mixon picked up 91 of those yards in the first half despite having a couple of long rushes taken away via penalty. He made a tackler miss on a touchdown late in the second quarter to give the Texans’ a 7-0 lead, but found the sledding tougher over the final 30 minutes. Still, Mixon has reached the century mark in four straight games with five touchdowns in that time frame, and will get a chance to keep the good run going against the Lions in Week 10.

Corley showed off his speed on nicely designed and well executed reverse, and should have picked up a touchdown. Instead he became the latest to drop a football too early, and the ball rolled out of the end zone for a touchback. Corley has been a non-factor thus far, and this probably won’t inspire a ton of confidence going forward.

Both touchdowns were spectacular. The first came on a one-handed stab from Aaron Rodgers where he scampered in from 21-yards out to tie the game at 7-7. The second was one of the best scores of the year, as he somehow got his shin down before his knee to give the Jets a 14-10 lead and the victory. Both Wilson and Davante Adams were able to go over 90 yards in this contest, and Wilson hasn’t had any issue piling up numbers since Adams joined the team. He should receive a healthy number of touches in Week 10 against the Cardinals.

Stroud lost a fumble inside the red zone on a sack in the first quarter. He didn’t turn the football over from that point on, but it’s fair to say this was not his best game. Some of that is not the 23-year-old’s fault; Stroud took eight sacks behind the woeful Houston offensive line, and he also was without star wideouts Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs. Much of it was absolutely his wrongdoing, however, as he missed on several throws and took some sacks that were a case of him not throwing the football away. The talent is immense, but Stroud has had growing pains in 2024. He’ll look to rebound with a (hopefully) healthier arsenal against the Lions in Week 10.

Rodgers missed on his first four passes before completing a screen pass to Breece Hall for all of negative two yards. He had an 18-yard touchdown pass negated when Malachi Corley made the questionable decision to not hold onto the football through the end zone. The second half was much more impressive, however. Both touchdown throws in the second half to Garrett Wilson were much more great plays by Garrett Wilson than they were great throws — particularly the one in the fourth to give the Jets a 14-10 lead — but they still count. The final touchdown was a perfect throw down the sideline to Davante Adams on a slot fade to put the game away. It wasn’t flawless — and it won’t ever be again for the 40-year-old — but there were some flashes of the Packers’ version in this contest The Jets take on the Cardinals in Week 10.
