Now, the Bengals have franchise-tagged WR Tee Higgins and also have a decision to make on extending Chase before his situation gets more tense. There is still much deliberation to be had for the Bengals, who historically have not shelled out large contracts but will try to keep the offensive core of Joe Burrow, Chase, and Higgins together.

Kirkwood was released by the Saints before the start of the 2023 season. He then joined the Ravens practice squad but never saw any action with the team. The age-30 wideout will be fighting for a roster spot during the summer.

He will be Jalen Hurts’ fourth offensive coordinator in as many years. Moore and Shane Steichen were hired away as head coaches while Brian Johnson was a one-and-done promotion from within. Patullo has never called plays at the NFL level but has been with the Eagles since 2021, working closely with Moore and head coach Nick Sirianni. Moore laid out the blueprint for Philly’s offense last year. If Patullo can keep the team’s explosive run game on track while also scheming up looks for A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, the transition shouldn’t be an issue for the offense.

Cunningham currently holds the title of assistant general manager in Chicago. The Jags previously conducted a virtual interview with Cunningham and have him in Jacksonville for an in-person interview today. Previous reports have named him as one of five finalists for the job. Cunningham has been with the Bears since 2022 after successful stints with the Ravens and Eagles. Both teams hoisted the Lombardi Trophy while he was on the staff. All signs point to Cunngimham landing the job, though the other finalists will meet with owner Shad Khan and interim GM Ethan Waugh over the next week or so.

Per Schultz, the belief is the Rams would want a first-round pick for Stafford. Schultz also made it clear that the Rams want Stafford, who is looking for a new contract, back for the 2025 season. Teams always make calls when there is any chance of a marquee quarterback being moved, but the Rams wouldn’t have many options to replace Stafford if they ship him off. Given the almost annual rumors of Sean McVay flirting with retirement, it’s hard to imagine the team choosing 2025 as the offseason to call it quits on Stafford. Still, the idea that his days in LA are numbered does appear to have legs. This will be a recurring story over the next month as free agency approaches.

Staley has been connected to New Orleans for roughly as long as the Saints have been interested in Kellen Moore as their head coach. Moore spent a year under Staley as the Chargers’ offensive coordinator in 2023. With the ink dry on Moore’s contract as the Saints’ next head coach, Staley should follow suit soon. Staley helmed the league’s No. 1 defense in his lone year as the Rams’ defensive coordinator before moving across town to coach the Chargers. He never cracked the top 20 in points allowed during his three seasons with his second LA franchise.

Williams was previously reported to be one of five finalists for the vacancy left by Trent Baalke. He is the first of the five to complete an in-person interview, meaning the Jags won’t be making a decision for at least a few days, if not longer. Williams worked his way up the ranks in San Francisco as a scout before being promoted to his current role last offseason. He has been with the 49ers for nearly 14 years in total.

Williams was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in Detroit in October and found to have two firearms in the front seat, one of them registered to Williams. Williams did not have a concealed pistol license to carry the weapon at the time but later obtained the permit, according to Birkett. The Lions wideout was arrested and released without charges. Williams had been suspended twice by the league for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drug and gambling policies. Williams will enter 2025 as one of the league’s most explosive pass catchers following his first 1,000-yard season as a pro.

March 15, per Graziano, would be considered a “soft deadline” for Kelce to decide if he’ll retire or play another season with the Chiefs. It’s on the day that $11.5 million is due to Kelce as a roster bonus. Kelce, 35, who said on February 11 that he would “take some time” before making the call to return for a 13th NFL season, could conceivably collect that bonus and announce his retirement later in the spring or summer. “But it’s important to mention this is one of the greatest players in franchise history and isn’t likely to be shoved out the door over $11.5 million,” Graziano said. Kelce’s decision will impact the entire Kansas City offense and will continue to be a top storyline of the NFL offseason.
